I purchased this to use at work. We were all highly impressed at the result this little machine gave us.We dont use the little wire tray that came with it becuase it addes creases/lines to the hot plastic.

Worked fine for a month. It no longer heats well enough to fuse the laminate together. It also started making a squealing sound. My Amazon Basics laminator has outlasted it by 1 year and has had no issues. The Amazon Basics laminator was about 1/3 the price of this Fellowes model and much better quality.

We use it to mainly laminate ID cards. It has a very quick warm up time and easy to use. not much to it other than pick the correct thickness. Just send it through, just make sure you send the correct side through first.

Used it for 4 months a then somehow got a sheet of laminate rolled up on the roller. Will update when I try to get warranty replacement..they sent a replacement.... great customer service

So after googling the issue, found a YouTube video that said no paper sleeve is required when laminating. This was never suggested when I contacted the supplier. So through our own trial and error we found the issue. 5 stars for the machine and 0 stars for the customer service.Purchased Nov 2021 and as of Sept 12,2022, no longer heats up. Seller suggests getting “repaired” via manufacturer and sent me 1-800 #! As if it can be repaired! I guess I’m out $150!

Works great! Strong and powerful machine. I use it for my business and I love it! I laminate a lot at a time and was looking for the fastest most efficient machine. As I did research I decided all laminators are slow.But anyways, it does it’s job and highly recommend!UPDATE 3/18/21Still working and going strong! Love it!

As an educator, I have access to a free large laminating machine, but such is not available in the summer and it is frequently "broken," mostly because fellow educators don't follow directions when operating it. Nevertheless, it IS free and it double-side laminates with 1 mil thick lamination which is fine with me since my purpose for lamination is to protect the item from soiling via frequent handling. I sort of wish this machine would laminate below 3 mil, but, nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the finished product--and there are times when more rigidity is desired. I have done whole pages as well as multi-strips together and the lamination came out fine--see the examples in my two pictures below. The price is certainly right, as is the cost of a box of laminating pouches. If you have an 8.5" x 11" product, center it side-to-side and don't push it fully into the pouch there will be a consistent 1/4-inch rigid and clear edging around the product with rounded corners--a nice feature. Definitely no bubbles. Although the instructions say the product will come out warm or hot, I found it cool to the touch. I cut around the strips with both a school cutter and via the old fashioned way of sliding scissors. And, of course, the lamination process highlighted the colors.Update, 1-23-2018: I'm finding that the machine has started to put permanent vertical impressions in the laminated sheets. This may be created by the wheels that pull the product through the machine. I'm also noticing that the top of the pages are coming out wavy horizontally. I don't need perfection, but protection; so, I'm not overly bothered by this, but for someone who wants a near-perfect result, I would say this is not the machine to buy.

If you've got a bunch of things to laminate, this is definitely the product to get! I did my research and this was the right choice. It heats up in literally 2 minutes and has 2 heat settings for 3 or 5ml. It's extremely easy to use and the sheets feed easily through it. We ran about 30 sheets through one after another, and it didn't overheat and we didn't waste one sheet due to a machine issue (only human error!). It cools down quickly, isn't heavy and it's easy to quickly laminate 1 or 2 items since there's no big set up. Just plug it in, turn on and 2 minutes later you're good to go, then back in the box and done!

I have a small business I use this for and it is used almost daily. So far I have had no issues in the past month and I love it! It heats up super fast. I haven't had any wrinkling problems unless you let it sit in there too long once it's done and that is just on the corner. It will beep to remind you when it's done though so that's a plus. I've never used any other laminators but I'm definitely happy with this purchase!Update: After 5-6 months of use it started smoking so I turned it off and haven't used it again. I ordered something else because I don't know what happened. But this was also used daily so I definitely got my moneys worth it's just too bad it didn't last longer for me. Still did a great job laminating the entire time though.
