I exclusively use double sided tape when wrapping gifts. The ability to wrap package with no tape showing makes for a much more beautiful package. I also use the double-sided tape underneath the bow, so it doesn't fall off the package. Once you start using this you will never go back.

I make greeting cards. I like to use tape runners, but they are so expensive. I found this tape with a dispenser and it works great. The cheap plastic double sided tapes are so hard to break off. Not this one. It works great and doesn't move on the counter when using it.

The tape works great and the dispenser is fine. I use 12-15 rolls of this tape for my business in a year and I have had 5+ of these dispensers because its cheaper buy this package that includes a dispenser than the multi-packs of the tape without it. This is wasteful of resources and shipping. I have been giving the extra dispensers to goodwill. Sell a six pack tape for the exact same price and I would buy that instead.

I use double-sided tape to temporarily tape canvas and paper to board while working on it, and in the past I always bought the little plastic disposable dispensers, which can be quite a pain to deal with. The disposable ones twist and bend and crack and the tape falls out the side, and once you get it lined up right, it can still be difficult to cut the tape on the dull plastic teeth. It becomes a project of it's own. With this great dispenser, I can just reach over to the shelf with one hand and pull out a piece of tape, simple and easy. Love it!

I am an avid scrapbooker and card maker. I go through tape like crazy. I had been using refillable tombow permanent adhesive tape runners and while I love the tape, they ran out just too fast and were expensive to refill unless I wanted to buy 144 of them at one time. I went to ATG tape and love that. However, I had issues with the tape coming unwound inside the glider or stuck to itself and I ended up wasting most of it. Also, a decent price on replacement meant I had to cut coupons and go to the craft store multiple times. A pain to do.When I saw this dispenser and 6 tapes for a great price, I thought I would give it a try. I spent all day today using the tape. LOVE IT! I had read the reviews on this product and was a little concerned about the dispenser. A piece of packing tape on the back of the dispenser solved the issue for me. And. like someone else said on here, it's a free dispenser. The tape is the important part and I have absolutely no issues with it. I am going to stock up and order more of these, even if I am left with too many dispensers. It is just too good a deal to pass up. Thank you, Amazon!

I teach paper crafting and am always trying different products, to see what works best in different situations. Scotch Double Sided Tape is an excellent adherent for crafting of all kinds. Because it is acid free (the descriptor 3M uses is "photo safe"), you can use it on scrapbooks, and it works great in card making. A fellow drafter uses it to make those diaper cakes you see at baby showers. One of my passions is making cards to donate to deployed troops, so I need a high tack adhesive. The heat in some destinations reduces the hold of adhesives in most tape runners. There is nothing more disappointing to a crafter than spending time making something for someone, only to have it fall apart or arrive in pieces. When I need a high tack hold and don't want to use a liquid adhesive, I use the Scotch 3M double sided tape. When I a host a group of people to help make cards, I can throw tape around the table, and people know how to use it. (I personally also use a permanent Xyron adhesive, or the gold 3M tape used in ATGs-but those require special dispensers, and the ATG is not a tool for the casual crafter, or people who have difficulty using their hands.). The Scotch Double Sided Tape is a staple in my adhesive collection, along with Tombo Liquid Multi, Xyron, and Scotch Gold for ATGs.Pros-tape is a familiar adhesive that even children can use.-the 3M double sided tape has a very strong hold.-this is a dry adhesive, so suitable in almost all situations.-affordable adhesive, almost half the price of tape runners (unless you find them at craft stores half price)Cons-once you put something down, you will probably have to rip the paper to get things apart. This is not a forgiving hold.-not as fast to apply as tape runners, for those who are experienced with tape runners and tape guns.As a side note, the dispenser that comes with this tape package holds standard width scotch tape, and the double sided tape is narrower than standard tape rolls. If you are expecting a customized tape dispenser, you will be disappointed, but if you realize you are basically being given a tape dispenser for free, you will be happy to have something that lets you get tape off the roll with one hand.

This was the best price for the amount of packs of tape included compared to a pack of one purchases six times individually, so the dispenser is definitely an added bonus. The project I used this for was to tape yarn to bottles so that the bottles were wrapped tightly with the yarn and this tape kept it all together perfectly. My bottles (i use for home decor) still look great and the tape holds it up nicely. Worth the buy if you're looking for a sturdy product.
