Product Description
ET-11170, ET-12270, & ET-13370 is a high quality steel desktop dispenser that comes with a weighted-rubber lined base to secure the dispenser to a work surface or leave the liner on if it is not necessary to mount it. The dispensers work for tapes with a 3 in. core diameter and the maximum outside roll diameter that can be supported/hold is 5 in. so it works perfectly with office supply tapes (i.e CELLO Tape). The dispenser’s blade has a safety guard that can manually be pushed up to cover the blade or to uncover it; works better on cutting tape that is 3 mills thick and under.

This is a great way to use packing tape or any other tape that needs a wide dispenser. It is very heavy--which is so great because it works so good that way. Very easy to load the tape and use. The price is ok because it is of very good quality and it will last a very long time. I love this dispenser!!

If I could give this 10 stars I would. It is heavy and stays put when you pull off the tape. I was so tired of losing my tape that would go back on the roll and almost impossible to retrieve it. Has a closure when you are finished using it then you can roll it back and retrieve your tape. Worth every penny to me.

This is my second review now that I've used an entire roll of shipping tape. This is a great design. Functional, easy to use, stays put on the countertop, holds huge rolls of tape, dispenses predictably, cuts with little effort. This dispenser has made my packaging for shipping so much more efficient. There is nothing I don't like about this tool.

I've had an Officemate Heavy Duty Weighted 2-in-1 Tape Dispenser for exactly 5 years. It was okay at first; not great but it worked okay. It always tore the packing tape ends crookedly when trying to cut them, but it worked better than those handhelds. I never loved the cutting blades for that reason, but I did love that it stayed put as you used it. Fast forward to today and the blades are totally chewed up, bent or broken on both sides just from trying to cut tape, and it almost won't cut it at all. It will, however, still cut fingers as you fight to get a piece of tape to tear off. So, it had to go. We found this model, and, due to the glowing reviews, chose it. It arrived quickly, and was sorely needed to close boxes for Christmas gift wrapping.All I can say is, WOW! I never knew packing tape could be so easy to use. This dispenser makes it a breeze to pull out the tape, but where it gets a WOW! from me is the ease of cutting. EVERY single piece cuts easily, smoothly and without tearing at an angle. Yes, I do wish it stayed put a little better, but, because it only takes one hand, I can use my finger in the place where it dips to hold it still when needed, so that's okay.I like having the blade cover when not using it so I don't accidently cut my hand or fingers by brushing against it.I don't know how many years I'll get out of this, but my guess is longer than our old one. Plus, this one actually does the job we bought it to do, and does it amazingly well. It's at a great price point, so even if I had to replace it every few years, it wouldn't be an issue. If they could make it so the blades are replaceable; it'd be a perfect product, and I suspect it'd outlast me. I highly recommend this dispenser.

Works great. Unit heavy enough to sit on desk and not move while pulling tape but light enough to carry to different areas. Tape cutter is very sharp, cuts cleanly but has a cover when not in use. Cover over teeth only, easily slides up and down.

I needed somehing to dispense thick rolls of masking tape in my office as I need to constantly label boxes and bins. Super well made and suction cups so it doesn’t wander off. The blade makes a nice clean satisfying cut. I recommend!

Without a doubt , my favorite tape dispenser I've ever owned. I liked it so much I bought a second one 15 minutes after using it for the first time. Solid construction and the cutter is laser sharp for very clean and effortless end cuts. My only beef is that some 3" tape rolls are a bit loose on the hub but a couple wraps of tape around the face tightens them right up.

Ive been using it everyday for craft purposes and to assemble big boxes. It is quite sturdy and useful! I love and appreciate mine a lot.++ it has detachable “succion cuppies “ to maintain it in place has the tape can be really sticky and strong on the grip amazingly well built.

All I got to say this has changed my life. I was cutting tape with my teeth or scissors for the longest time trying to pack my packages to mail and took me forever cutting a strip here and a strip there and trying to find a place to hang my tape. Now it’s a quick rip with one hand and taping my packages is fun again. Best money I have spent in years and this thing is a heavy well made product that doesn’t move when taking tape off. Highly recommend if you ship sometime or a lot. Works well with my $1.25 I get from dollarama also

Get this tape dispenser even if it costs a few $$$ more than some others. This is an awesome tape dispenser that allows you to have two different rolls of tape that turn independently. You can pull either roll individually, both rolls, or use for a wide 2" roll of tape. Very rugged metal body, metal axle pin, and very sharp cutting blade with a nice protector. The design is really nice, it catches the tape in two places allowing you to get your finger in between to grab the next piece. Also has a cutting blade that is wider than the tape rollers (angles apart at the front) so you don't have to be 100% perfectly aligned to cut the tape fully. The only negative is that Amazon shipped it in their signature white plastic baggie and it looks like someone played football with it. The end of the bag was completely torn open and one whole side of the box was crushed in. Good thing this tape dispenser is super heavy duty metal, the only damage was a slight chip in the paint on the back side (see second picture) where the metal pin of the rollers had been mashed against the body by their abuse. Your great grandchildren will be able to inherit this tape dispenser and it will probably still be working great.

I had previously purchased another version of this brand of dispenser and absolutely loved it. I needed one that was a bit smaller so I ordered this one. Didn't realize it came with suction cups on the bottom. They did not "suction" to anything so I removed them and just let the rubber grip on the bottom do its thing. Works like a champ. These dispensers are heavy enough that you don't need 2 hands to use them and the cutting part is sharp enough to cut thick, heat resistant tape like butter with no effort at all. Yes, these are a bit pricey, but they are well made and do the job. I also like that there is the cover for the blade because the blade is very sharp.
