I have and old car with no AUX, USB or Bluetooth. A long commute to and from my three jobs, with soul-crushing traffic. basically, I'm always on the road, spend a lot of time in my car and in traffic. And radio sucks! I just hate the radio! I actually haven't listened to radio in about 7 years or more and I will not start now.Arsvita and Elook are the exact same thing. Same parts, manufacturer and product; just by different names. I tested the "upgraded" version of Arsvita whit the nylon cable, and the conventional Elook which is the same as the original Arsvita. Same cable and jack. Scosche is the only one slightly different built and actually different manufacturer. I tested them all at once following the proper instructions. They all sucked and performed and sounded terrible. As soon as you put them in the cassette player they make this terrible static and grinding noise. Even without the phone/player plugged in, just on it's own while nothings playing (of course I adjusted the volume on the car's radio end and my player's end. Still sounds terible) the static sound comes from the radio just being on with a cassette that's not really a cassette and the grinding noise comes from the cassette adapter "turning" the "tape" which of course there isn't any because the adapter is just tricking the car into think it's a cassette so you can use your AUX with it. The sound is terrible and annoying. And if you want to drown the sound, making either end (the radio or phone/player) just makes the static, grinding and feedback noise louder too!The best overall was the Arsvita with the upgraded audio jack plug and nylon cable (the nylon helps cancel out the static and feedback noise that occur when the cable moves or brushes against something, which often.) The second best was the Elook, same as the conventional Arsvita. The audio cable broke after a few weeks and after that I had to wiggle it to hear my music. It would cut in and out has the cable moved, like an old broken charging cable you have to fidget with to make work. Basically it was useless at that point. Lastly the Scosche wouldn't even be recognized by the radio at fist. After messing with it and flipping it it until it worked, the audio quality was around the same as the conventional Arsvita/Elook with less grinding noise but same amount of static/feedback noise. But it always took a few tries to make the radio recognize it as a cassette. It took a few flips for it to start playing. Conclusion: I bough a wireless Bluetooth speaker. The Wonderboom 2 (by Ultimate Ears/Logitech) is the speaker I chose after looking at a few Bose, JBL, Beats, Sony and Apple options. The Wonderboom 2 is $100 ($75 or less now) but it has lasted 2 years now and it's going strong. It's the best option I could find for sound in my car that's not the radio. I put it in my cupholder or center console or the little cubi space under the radio/AC controls and the sound fills up the whole car. It's surprisingly loud yet clear and crisp. It has 360 degree sound and it has an even louder "outdoor mode" option. No feedback, static or any other noise. No bluetooth lag. It connects, pairs and starts playing instantaneously. you can pause/play, skip or go back, volume up and down all in the speaker. Water, dust and shock proof.and the best part: it has 13 hours of battery life and takes 2.5 hours to charge completely. I just charge it with my USB car charger while the speaker is still playing on my cupholder. The music and podcast never stop!In addition I can take the speaker out and give it other uses, like when I'm working on the car I just put it on top of the car and I can listen to whatever I want as I'm doing oil changes, rotating tires and messing with the car. It's also on whenever the car's off like when I'm in traffic, drive-thru, waiting for the train to pass or putting gas. All in all I have a way better experience with music, podcast or any other audio than with a cassette aux adapter. I'm never going backTL;DR: All the cassette aux adapters sucked so I bought a wireless bluetooth speaker instead which worked flawlessly! It has a lot more features than what I explained here, check it out and judge for yourself:https://www.amazon.com/ULTIMATE-EARS-WONDERBOOM-Deep-Space/dp/B07NFPGNWD/ref=sr_1_4?crid=15DRMEZH3AIJI&keywords=ue%2Bwonderboom%2B2&qid=1659429514&s=electronics&sprefix=ue%2Bwonderboom%2B2%2Celectronics%2C151&sr=1-4&th=1

Garbage. Doesn’t work. And I missed my return time. Going to throw it in the garbage. I ordered two. One pops out as soon as you put it in and the other one does not work even though it stays in. Garbage don’t waste your money

Works good for my purpose. Not sure if it’s my phone adapter or this but make sure you turn your phone volume up before turning up the radio or else you’ll get some static. Nice and cheap.

The sound quality is great. I’ve purchased other one’s that ended up with very flat sound. This one sounds great. I’ll be buying from this merchant again, if anything happens to the one I have now.

Compré este cassette después de comparar varios productos y leer las reseñas. Me parece que la calidad del audio puede ser buena, pero es muy molesto escuchar el ruido tan fuerte que hace el cassette en el radio, algo que no me había pasado con otros productos similares.

Ah tape adapters. Haven't moved into new technology yet in your car? Love the feeling of popping in a cassette but sad no one records onto them anymore? This can help put a bandaid on that stab wound. But like a bandaid, this won't hold off the inevitable and pending doom. This worked great for the first 6 months, despite my passengers endlessly making fun of it, but then it happened. The sound quality suffered more as the cord connecting it to the plug began to break, crackling my sweet tunes. Then my sweet cassette playing headunit decided to reject the bandaid of technology and started spitting it back out at me. What will happen to this innocent looking, plastic device made in china with a bizarre brand name? It will probably be cast off into the abyss of our local sanitation workers truck, along with the box to my new car radio.

I bought a used car months ago and it comes with a factory cd + cassette stereo with no Auxiliary input. I was so close on spending hundred of dollars upgrading my stereo just to have the aux input for my iPhone. Then I found this cheapo item on Amazon and I thought, hey I could waste 6 bucks on this just to see whether it will even work. Mind you that I've been using FM transmitter for a while and they all performed badly. It's hard find an empty frequency in San Francisco Area so I rarely use that FM transmitter anymore. BTW This adapter I received look nothing like the posted pictures. Mine is a black one with a regular straight cord.Since all I have to do is insert this device in the cassette slot, it took less than a second to "install". The sound quality is impressive. I play a lot of rock music and they all come out loud and clear - in fact they sound as good as listen to one of the cds I have in the car.I'm so impressed with this thing I have to write a review. If you're like me, someone who is thinking about upgrading the stereo just to have the aux input, or someone with a smart phone/mp3 player who has a car that comes with s stock cassette stereo, you should try this adapter first. You'll save a lot of time and money. I know I did. Worth every penny!

The product was delivered as advertised in Amazon. Light weight. My '98 Chrysler Sebring neither has a CD player nor an Aux port. So I use this cassette adapter to play songs from my Apple Ipod through my car stereo. I did not find any significant drop in sound quality. If I had to pick one con, when the car has A/C turned off and no songs, but you still have the adapter in the slot, you can hear a very slight buzzing sound of the cassette running. Not a big deal, just FYI. Have been using it for about 8 months with no issues. The product was delivered on time. Overall, satisfied with this. Will recommend !

I was a little worried when buying this item because of the negative reviews, but the price was right ($5.99).I'm happy to say that this adapter has only failed to function once. We use it in our car and it did exactly as some other reviewers described: reversed direction and began auto-rewind. This happened on the first cold day of the coming fall in New England and my conclusion at the time was that caused the problem. Since then it has never failed to play and never stopped and tried to rewind, even though the days have gotten colder. The sound is adequate for most non-name brand car stereos. I've noticed no difference between this and the previous "Monster" brand adapter that died.I would buy this product again given the low price. I will also keep this review updated if it fails.*UPDATE*It's still running perfectly after almost two years of use. We keep it in the car all the time and it is exposed to hot summers and freezing winters. This is a good product and I would buy it again if I needed to.
