Plastic is very scratchable... like all the reviews say mirror vibrates terribly used some foam weather stripping to help but still sucks. Spend the money on oem or something other than this.. It works but youl go nuts with the poor quality...

Update: DOES NOT LAST!!! now 7 months in both mirrors have fully stopped working electronics. They now long adjust at all. The left side kind of wiggles when I push the adjustment buttons, right does nothing anymore. Im replacing them with Trail Ridge mirrors after seeing a buddies, they seem like better quality.Update: after several months, I can say I’m now looking for better mirrors. Thease are not holding up. They have begun retelling a lot when I shut the doors and they vibrate more and more each week while driving. Something I also didn’t notice are first is the mirrors are weird. I can’t seem to get a good view from them, I’m always adjusting them. Like they don’t reflect the same as the OEM did. Basically, this is a DO NOT BUY item IMO.Original review:08’ Ram 2500 with factory tow mirrors. I broke my right side backing into my shop. I got this replacement in along with a new left side since that sides adjustment motor went out years ago.Fit: yup it fits, looks pretty spot on to factory unless you really really look close. Very slight difference in the shape, mainly the arm coming off the truck. The Color and texture look right, it’s a bit shiny black, but the old one is all faded and so beat up so it’s had to compare color and finish. It went on right using the included hardware, no modifications needed. It’s tight on the truck, no weird gaps of anything. The included foam backing was kinda weird, it overhang like a seal and would show a little when installed. Instead If cutting it short I just used the OEM pad, it was fine.Quality: this is interesting. Yes it feels cheap, the seams are not perfect up close and the glass feels thinner, but the image looks clean and not distorted. However, upon deeper inspection of the OEM unit I pulled off, honestly the OEM one wasn’t great either. Same flaws in the seams, minor gaps, it felt super cheap too off the truck. So I guess this china replacement isn’t as far off as you would think from the Mexico OEM mirrors out of the box.Operation: functions work fine on both. Heat works, adjustments work, it is very difficult to flip up, I’m 6’3” 230 and it was a pain. Maybe after a few flips it’s easier? Personally I leave mine down all the time, even when towing my 5th wheel. I never found it necessary to flip out and it looks better down and shakes less.Shakes: yea they sake a little. But comparing it to my OEM tow mirrors, it’s about the same. I think most folks that get them are upgrading from small non-tow down mirrors that have zero movement. Even the OEMs shake a little. Thease are no worse. While I say OEM is the way to go, I’m not spending $600 on OEM mirrors, no thank you.

Mirror installed easily and looks good but it’s about 1/2 - 3/4 shorter than the stock mirror so that’s kinda annoying. Bought it for a 2003 2500 5.9l diesel.

I saw a lot of reviews saying the bolts that came with it were wrong. I don’t know if they changed the bolts, but I had no problems. The electronics work and the mirror looks close enough to the original that I would have to hold them side by side to notice any differences. A valid replacement.

On arrival, this unit had something shaking in it. it was a tight fit to install, but fit. The foam seal was larger than the OEM part I was replacing.Once it was installed, the first thing I noticed was a the adjustment was only correct when the mirror was flipped up. In the normal travel position, up moved the mirror in. At this point, I wouldn't probably have given it 4 starsAbout a month after install, someone bumped into the mirror. The glass popped out and broke several of the tabs. I looked for a replacement and there are none available. Broken glass is a huge issue for car mirrors and replacements should be super easy. Down to 2 stars. While the glass was out, I noticed a bunch of wires hanging in the mirror and a plastic holder they all went into. With a bit of work, I figured out where the piece fit and then the motors adjusting the mirrors now correctly work in the normal or extended position. A small dab of glue would solve this problem and the lack of indicates no quality control or testing of the product. So down to one start

Mirror is perfect, studs were too long as everyone has said. I went to Home Depot bought a 2 bolt bag with M6-1.0 x 25mm and a 2 bolt bag with M6-1.0 x 12 mm for about $3. Mirror went on perfectly with those and still saved a bunch of money overall

Installed on 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. Passenger side. Very easy install. Must re-use the original bolts. Otherwise perfect fit. Mirror is solid, no vibrations.
