There were supposed to be five packages of needles. However, I only received four. I’m not very happy about that at all. The needles are perfect but when you’re paying for five packet five packages of needles, you should get five instead of four. I thought it might’ve been in the box the way there was a cardboard in there, but there wasn’t.

This order was well packaged, arrived very quickly and is as described. Where else could I get five packages for the price listed? I read another review that mentioned she uses these needles for applique and I do a lot of satin stitch applique. I have been using universal 60/8, but microtex are sharper and I think will do equally as good a job as universal if not better. I am very happy with my purchase.

Working on some very lightweight fabric projects. These needles fit my Bernina, and do a great job. Only problem is, if you forget to change out needles and use them on heavier stuff, they do tend to break. That's the operator's fault though. Altogether, great needles at a good price. Ordered this multi-pack so that when they do break, I've got a ready supply.

I believe Schmetz brand needles are definitely one of the best performing brands available on the market. I have been using them for over 50 years and they are my preferred brand.They are consistently sized, made of high quality materials and are color coded so you can make sure when you change out your needles you can be sure you are using the correct size. They feature “ universal” points so are suitable for all types of fabric. They are available in packages featuring assortments or in just one size and they make a variety of sizes and special use needles.

This needle makes a perfect stitch on silk garment I am sewing. Fit my Janome with no problem. The tiny thread eye is a challenge.
