I ordered this to go along with a certain color scheme for my decor and it did not arrive as pictured. It's brown and white, not even close to black as it appears in the photo. I do love the sound of it, have nothing or no other experiences to compare it to other than youtube videos. I will still keep it, but I chose this particular one out of the many less expensive ones, specifically for the color.

the deep resonant projection is very distinctive; when I need to boost projection I use two sE7 microphones with my XENYX 1002B and Roland Cube Street. if the venue is not as secure I use a Valter Aludu.

Great pair of Udu drums, fantastic sound and feel. They look gorgeous as well. The rings for the drums to sit on are a little cheap feeling, just basic foam rings, but honestly they do the job. Can't fault the rest of the work!The only downside is they took a long time to arrive, however this was due to the delivery company not the seller. I was able to get in touch with them with no issue and they replied very quickly and got it sorted for me.

this is a remarkable drum for the price. It arrived safely nicely packaged. Tone and volume are superior to some of the other commercial udu's on the market. If it broke (Yikes!), I'd buy another immediately.
