As an important component of modern clutch systems, the release system, the connection between pedal and clutch, has a decisive influence on the driving experience. To ensure that the clutch is easy to operate and that the power flow can be safely metered, all components of the release system must work perfectly together. The clutch slave cylinder is the final component and positioned at the end of the hydraulic clutch system. In a semi-hydraulic version, it is always located outside the gearbox bell housing and serves to actuate the release bearing via a release fork. In fully hydraulic conversions, the function of the release mechanism on the transmission side is taken over by a concentric slave cylinder. The advantage of this over conventional release systems is that fewer components are needed, as release bearings and concentric slave cylinders are no longer required. Under its LuK brand, Schaeffler has played a decisive role in the development of hydraulic clutch actuation technology. Today, the company also offers all components of the release system as spare parts for the independent market in case of a defect, certainly in the usual OE quality. These clutch replacement parts can be used for various models of Car, Truck, SUV & Van, Motorcycles & Scooters as well as ATVs & UTVs. Please check for the correct build, year, and model before buying.

Installed on a 2005 Scion tC on Mar. 5, 2023.Liked: 1) very easy to install - on/off in 15 minutes; 2) design was complete to the OEM that was replaced; 3) bleeding the air out of the line was quick with the bleeder valve having easy accessDislikes: none at this time!I will update with more information as I drive the vehicle.

In these days of shortages, I am grateful that I was able to get this affordable OEM part quickly and that it works perfectly on my 2005 RAV4. At 156k miles, my mechanic recommended to also replace the original clutch, flywheel, and master cylinder too, and of course flush the brake fluid.

Just like the original. I actually bought it for the pushrod. I had a heavier clutch put in and it wouldn't disengage right. I added 1/4" to the pushrod and it works perfectly.... The slave cylinder itself appears of hood quality.
