Well, I used it and shot a bear. So I guess it works. It really does smell like earth. It smells like you rolled in dirt.

This is the best cover scent I have ever used and believe me when I say I have tried them all. I have had mature bucks directly downwind of me and not detect me. This is an awesome product and deserves a five star rating but the cap on my bottle was not tight and it leaked in the packaging.

The earth scent was not as strong as I had hoped but hey maybe that's what it's supposed to be. Haven't had any deer come close since I got it to give a good account if it works.
