Perfect for my scaffolding. They fit well and the breaks work. Make sure you bend your pins especially when using this over now smooth surfaces so they don’t wiggle themselves loose

Scaffold wheels are heavy duty work great on my scaffolding. Also has a lock to keep the wheel from rolling.

I acquired these casters to use with an existing set of scaffolding to make it more mobile when being used indoors. Measuring my scaffolding, I knew that a bushing would be required to make a good fit, so I ordered those at the same time. Unfortunately, the caster’s post does not fit inside “1-Inch ID Round Tubing” as stated as the caster post itself is over 1”, leaving me with either the time-consuming option of making bushings, grinding down the posts, or returning these casters and looking for something else.The swivel locking caster itself seems reasonably well constructed. All of the exposed steel is galvanized, and the swivel bearing includes a plastic dust ring. The step on brake locks the wheel rotation and caster pivot, which is nice. The axle bolt appears to be capped with a nylon lock nut, which should help it resist loosening during use. The round post stem is cross drilled and includes a locking clevis pin. The actual wheel is hubless, made of a hard black rubber (average measured Shore A hardness of 96.7, so about as hard as a hard hat). There does appear to be a roller bushing, but not a roller bearing. The material is not non-marring, easily leaving black marks when it slides across a surface. The rubber does have an unpleasant, but not overpowering, odor to it. This wheel is suitable for concrete, but I would be reluctant to use it on any type of finished floor.

These fit a scaffold system that was gifted to me (1" pipe). They fit in the pipe far enough that I'm not worried about them coming out. The brakes on the brakes on the wheels are good. The reality that each wheel can turn pretty much 360 degrees will be helpful when I'm skilled enough to move the scaffold while I'm on it. For now it just means that I have to be careful when pushing it around.

I gave these a 4 star rating, because while there is a lock for the tire, there is no lock to keep the wheel from rotating left or right. Also, the caster post the goes in the scaffold tube is 1.02 inches. I was hoping use these to build a stand to put my hanging plants on during the days that it is inclimate for them (to hot, cold, or windy) and bring them inside. I won't be able to use 1 inch ID pipe for the connection onto the wheel assemble, so this may complicate my build. But, they are overall a well built tire assembly - they just may not be quite perfect for what I am looking for.OK - finally got around to checking to see if my idea was going to work - and yes - the post on these wheels slips right inside a piece of 1 inch EMT conduit. My idea is going to work. I still have to give these wheel assemblies a 4 star rating, because there is no way to lock the swivel of the castor left and right. I'll update this when I get my plant hanger done.I have my plant stand now mostly done in time to bring my plants in for the winter. And, yes, the casters work great! They roll really smoothly, and fit perfectly into 1 inch EMT (electrical conduit) pipe like you by at the big box stores. I'm not quite done with the plant stand, as I'm waiting on a few more parts that were backordered. Good tires though - worked really good for this project.OK - it has been a while since I started using these, and I have moved my rating to a 5. I have to confess that I was wrong about the tires not having a lock to prevent the wheel from turning right and left when locked down. It does have a lock - and it works well. Sorry I didn't catch that when I was trying these out. My bad - but these are a good set of wheels. I would buy them again.

So these wheels are very strong and sturdy but doesn’t fit my scaffolding. The pin doesn’t line up with my scaffolding holes. However, with an adapter I made, it works fine and they’re pretty strong. So the installation was a bit tricky for me but I am sure it would work well for more modern scaffolding. So I would say a good value for newer scaffolding.
