It cost more than other planks but it's lighter with a higher load capacity. Well worth the investment if it's to see lots of use.

This is for the 8-13' plank. I extended it out to it's maximum length and tried it out. As I walked it's length it begin to wobble midpoint. The wobbling or side to side movement under foot kind of scared me. When I walked on the area that has only the individual rails I could feet them flexing and giving under my feet. They would flex as my foot rolled from heel to ball as I moved. This gave me the feeling of unsafeness also. The middle area where the rails are together felt more stable. It did hold my weight of 230 lbs. Apparently there has been complaints about people pinching their fingers when collapsing the two side together so they have incorporated a hex bolt to limit the closing for safety. That's all the bolt is for, so it's your option to use it or not. A 12' wood board with a 2x3 ribbed. centered, and screwed to the underside is more stable and is very close to the same weight.
