Filtered Water Anywhere
The reusable 0.1 absolute micron Micro Squeeze water filter produces clean water from freshwater lakes, rivers, and streams, as well as faucets in your home or hotel room while traveling (domestic and international).

Easy Drinking

Hollow Fiber Membrane
Sawyer’s water filters are comprised of tiny hollow fiber membranes that allow water to enter their core through tiny micro-pores.
Thicker fiber walls combined with a smaller inner diameter make Sawyer fibers 75% stronger* than typical hollow fiber membranes, giving you a fast flow and enabling the filter to be continually backwashed forcefully to restore up to 98% of the original flow rate.

0.1 Absolute Micron Filtering
Each Sawyer water filter features 0.1 micron absolute filtration, meaning there is no pore size larger than 0.1 micron in size.
This makes it nearly impossible for microplastics, harmful bacteria, protozoa, or cysts like E. coli, Giardia, Vibrio cholerae, and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera and Typhoid) to pass through.
Fiber Protection
Sawyer's hollow fiber membranes are fully encased and sealed to keep them protected. When fibers are not enclosed, physical damage of exposed fibers could allow harmful pathogens to pass through.
Tested 3 Times
Every Sawyer filter is performance tested three separate times during the manufacturing process for your protection.
Testing occurs after the fiber element construction and twice after casing assembly to ensure no harmful pathogens leak through the sealed case or internal O-rings.

Had a Sawyer Mini. It is now at the bottom of a gorge :(. Upgraded to this as a replacement.Love that it is easy to use. Nice flow. Easy to back flush/clean.Cons are that it can leak if not perfectly tightened on with properly seated o-ring.Make sure to not let it freeze and it will last forever!!!

I originally bought this for long hikes that I take on a camping trip each year. I've used it on those hikes and it's wonderful and lightweight easy to use. Honestly though I use it more often when I'm mountain biking on local trails. It means I don't have to carry as much water with me because I'm able to filter water as I go and this is much lighter than carrying water

This has been our favorite filter yet. Our friends used ours the whole trip because it works much more smoothly. Squeeze the blue bag to create the force, and it comes quickly through the filter (good flow).. Glad we replaced our other with this one.

I had read that the included squeeze bags aren't that great and can break easily, so I swapped it out for a Dunkive 2L squeeze bag instead. The flow feels pretty good. With this combo, I can realistically filter about 70oz in about 2 minutes. The filter and bag together weigh only about 5 or 6oz and packs down tiny. Filters faster and is a much lighter, smaller package than the Grayl and MSR filters I've used. Will have to see how it performs in the field, but I'm happy so far.

Die deutlich gesteigerte Durchflussmenge war mein Hauptgrund für mein Upgrade vom alten Sawyer auf den neuen.Dies macht das auffüllen der 4-6Liter Wasserreserven bei Trekkingtouren (insb. Bei kalten und nassen Verhältnissen) deutlich angenehmer.Ansonsten sehr Robust und gut in der Handhabung. Ist auf meinen Touren immer dabei.

Ho acquistato questo filtro per uso escursionistico. Eventualmente facendo una pre-filtrazione con un fazzoletto, è possibile eliminare residui solidi, batteri, protozoi, alghe e larve di tenia da qualsiasi acqua, anche pozzanghere fangose o pozze d'acqua con escrementi di animali. Non effettua l'eliminazione dei virus, funzione per la quale uso lo Steripen Ultra o delle pastiglie di cloro. Utile naturalmente anche per turismo in paesi con rete idrica di scarsa affidabilità. Non effettuo la "spremitura" della bottiglia dell'acqua sporca, lascio che l'acqua scenda per gravità, funziona benissimo ugualmente. La pulizia in controflusso da fare a casa è semplicissima. Un prodotto di grande utilità e peso e costo comparativamente scarsi.

Je viens de le recevoir et de le tester. Produit qui fonctionne très bien. Jai testé avec l'eau du robinet calcaire, résultat hyper satisfaisant. Eau douce, transparente et sans odeur ni goût, agréable à boire.La poche est très légère et de grande capacité, idéal pour l'emporter partout.Je vais l'utiliser pour un trek de 14 jours au mois d'août....De retour, Je reviens sur ce commentaire pour y ajouter : que la poche c'est percé au bout des 2 derniers jours de mon trek, soit presque 2 semaines. J'ai fini par tenir d'un bout à l'autre, malgré que l'eau parté de partout. J'ai dû abandonné la poche et du coup j'ai mis le filtre sur ma gouede platypus et ça fait toujours le même job.

I used this on a recent 17 day hike in outback Australia. The filtration system itself worked really well but the squeeze bag failed at the seams around the nozzle on the first use. I tried to do repairs on the track with some tape but it was not salvageable. Unless the squeeze bag is upgraded to something useable and reliable, it would be better not to include this at all in the package.

small size, light weight, reliable, and easy to use hit all of my main water purifier concerns. this was so much easier to use than my hold katadyn hiker filter and so much lighter. i used this with the vecto was bag and worked perfectly every time and very easy too. its great how much flexibility it has and how it can be used in so many ways. i.e.-squeeze filter, gravity filter, straw filter, on tons of different bottles. this is now my go to water filter for the foreseeable future. the price also is a 3rd of what a replacement filter costs for the katadyn btw!

I recently took this filter with me on a backpacking overnighter with my son to the High Uintas. This filter is small enough and light enough to be packed easily in a backpack. We stayed close to a lake with relatively clear water. I filled my aqua bladder about a half dozen times using this filter for both drinking water and cooking. Since then I have not gotten sick so that speaks to it working correctly. The only cons I found were that it would be nice if it had come with a mesh bag of sorts to keep all the parts together. I ended up putting it all in a ziplock. Also it was difficult filling the squeeze bag in the lake. The easiest way I found to fill the bag was to skim the mouth across the surface of the lake without trying to kick up the silt on the bottom of the lake. Not too bad once to get the hang of it, but maybe there could be an easier way. Filling from a stream (or running water) may be easier/better. You cant just dip the bag into the lake since it is collapsible it will not fill up. All in all I am happy with the purchase and will keep using the product for future trips and store it in my emergency kit when it is not hiking with me somewhere in the beautiful wilderness.
