How To Measure Your Boat For A Bimini Top
Sizing
Length: Measure your desired area of shade coverage to decide which length Bimini top is best for your boat. The pivotal mounting points will be approximately at the center point of the top on each side of your boat.
Width: Measure the distance between these mounting points on each side(port and starboard) to determine the width you will need.
Height: While standing inside the boat, measure from the pivotal mounting point straight up to determine the desired height.
What size is best for your boat?
- 3 Bow Bimini Tops are usually meant to cover 6' of shaded area on your boat and should be bought for frames that can support 6' in length.
- 4 Bow Bimini Tops are usually meant to cover 8' of shaded area on your boat and should be bought for frames that can support 8' in length.

I couldn’t believe how nice this Bimini canvas was for the price! To my surprise the canvas has zippers to install it. I thought I was going to have to go through the torment of unscrewing all of the bolts on the frame but to my surprise the Bimini cover has zippers! I was so happy! I will come back after the canvas has been on and update on wear and fading.

You never know what kind of quality you are getting when purchasing online, but I have to say, I was more than happy when this product arrived!It was perfection! The material is thick and made of very good quality! The zippers were good and sturdy, ready to take on the waves and winds of the ocean! Love this purchase!

Tahoe Q7i needed a new cover and I ordered this one and was worried because it was so affordable. Came in, same material as the one I had, color was a good match for the burgundy coloring of my boat. I was ready to do the full on wrestle of removing and replacing and realized after I unpacked it… IT HAS ZIPPERS! All I had to do was remove the old one, reassemble the Bimini frame, which is easy with no canvas installed! Then lay it out and zipper it onto each bow of the frame. 5 minutes tops! The sun doesn’t seem to be the only enemy of these Bimini canvas… moisture and winter temps don’t seem to help any, even with a waterproof boat cover. Maybe the ease of taking it off for winter storage, thanks to the zippers, will help it last.

I am pleasantly surprised and quite pleased with the quality of this product. Very easy to install. Reviews that show loose / sagging tops obviously just measured wrong. There are measuring and installation instructions in the listing. My only (minor) point of confusion when installing was my old Bimini material had "cut outs" for the straps that enabled you to mount them on the top (horizontal) rail, but I was replacing the straps anyway, and after looking at some photo, quickly realized you really can attach the straps anywhere. I used a zip tie to keep them from sliding down where I attached the new straps to the vertical rails. The top and the material look great and it was a major upgrade for a very reasonable price.

Color seems off, I ordered grey which looked close to my boats carpet color in the product photos but what I received is closer to a beige or khaki color.Quality of the material is so so, seems very thin and the backside has a sticky feeling to it. I expected better for the price. Keeping it but only because I couldn’t find any others in stock in the size I needed.

Material was flimsy and poorly fitted to frame. Was far too narrow at 74 inches when it states it fits frames 78 inches wide. A correct bimini cover has edges which turn down around the frame corners as per the last photo which was taken from the product photo on Amazon This one was at least 8 inches too narrow. It looked cheap and poorly designed and sized so I returned it. Shipping both ways was at my expense and I would not recommend this item as it did not meet my expectations, which frankly, were pretty low to begin with.
