I ordered this set for the backrest, but the hero of the order is the felt hat. We all had a good laugh when trying it on, but the reality is, it works and has kept my hair from damage whereas some friends have had terrible hair damage. W love the little slippers too. And, yes, the backrest does what it says and keeps the extreme heat off of your back.

I like the accessories that come with this sauna backrest. They are a good value but a little stiff so give them a little wash before you use them and you'll like the softness that comes from it. DONT WRING THE WOOL.Anyhow, the sauna backrest is exactly what you need for your sauna. It's exactly the right shape for me. I'm 5'5" and the back curve fits me just right.Now, the wood is unfinished, so you'll see after a few uses it will stain a bit which might make you want to sand it and lacquer it. If you don't care... no worries!Another thing is that the pleather bumpers at the top and bottom are STAPLED down with metal staples, so the one that got sweat on it rusted. Not very premium.Overall, this item is a RECOMMEND!

This backrest works great in our sauna. It's comfortable to lean back on and very relaxing. Love the added accessories. The hat is adorable!

This looked like it was made ok, but is HUGE! If you are planning for a smaller person, this won't be it. I didn't even take it out of the plastic as it was evident that one size means BIG!

This is an affordable set of sauna accessories. The backrest is pretty basic. It's not made from the highest grade wood but I wouldn't call it cheap. It's constructed well enough. The rubber tips are simply stapled on, but that's clear in the photos.I purchased a wood backrest nearly identical to this over a year ago for this price, so I had expected the felt accessories to be throw-aways. They're thin and nothing fancy, but they're more than functional. For the price, this is a nice set. For $20-more you can purchase a nicer backrest made from higher quality wood, but this works fine for me.

This backrest makes my sauna much more comfortable. I can lean back easily, and it gives great support. It’s sturdy and well-made, which is so helpful for keeping my back off the heat panels, especially when it gets over 140 degrees. There are lots of similar options online, but I picked this one for the extra accessories. The finish is smooth and matches the wood in my sauna nicely. I’m really happy with it and would recommend it

I ordered this Sauna Backrest Sauna Accessories for my new infrared sauna. The set comes with the backrest, a sauna mat, some slippers, and a sauna hat.I mainly ordered this set for the backrest, but having the other items included has been really nice. The mat fits perfectly on the bench in my sauna and makes for a nice barrier between a body and the wood. The slippers and hat are nice to have as options.The backrest is really nice. It's comfortable to lean against, and it doesn't slip around because of the grips on the ends. I also like that the wood color of the backrest matches the wood of my sauna perfectly!

The backrest itself is the star here. Its curved design provides decent support, making it much better than leaning directly against the sauna wall. While it’s not the most comfortable option out there, it’s sturdy and gets the job done. That said, I wish it were made of cedar instead of pine; cedar would feel more premium and better suited for a sauna environment.The included accessories don’t add much to the package. The seat pad is the most useful, though I still prefer using a towel for extra comfort and cleanliness. The slippers are disposable and don’t seem worth the effort, and the felt sauna hat left me scratching my head (figuratively, not literally). If you’re into the full sauna experience, the hat might be more appealing, but it’s not for me.If you’re buying this, it’s really about the backrest. It’s a practical upgrade for your sauna, but don’t expect much from the extras; they’re more of a toss-in than a selling point.
