I've been in the archery game for over 30 plus years. This Sanlida Hermit X10 is an incredible deal. I bought this as a beater truck, bugout, hunting weapon. It was also to be a hunting backup to my 68lb custom Cascade recurve which cost me $1,895 and is no longer made. Well it became my competition bow as well as my first choice. Why? Well my Hermit with 45lb limbs shoots almost as fast as my 68lb custom bow. The Sanlida slings my 490grain arrows at over 200fps. It's very stable and quiet. I'm not sure who would give this bow a bad review except anti China folks. I've shot Hoyts, and yes some of their products are refined but not exemplary and not worth 4 times the cost. I found the Sanlida worthy enough to receive my camouflage treatment award.

Sanlida hit a homerun with their ILF hunting rig. Smooth, fast, and easy to hit with, this came well packed and well made with a quick set up time. A bit louder than single piece recurves but those limbs are snappy quick and can be quieted down easily. Mine came without a manual but enough online support made this a nonissue.

The bow arrived with a seal on the box that would show if the box had been opened. The seal was cut, leading me to believe that the bow was likely returned before. The bow looked nice and the limbs fit nicely to the riser. However, when I went to adjust the tiller, the locking screw for the limb bolt was damaged. The screw head was defective not allowing the hex key to fit, so the locking bolt could not be loosened or tightened. So you cannot adjust the tiller properly. Also, there is a loud rattle in the riser and the bow is very loud. Will be returning it.

Complete package. Well machined and bow draw weight correct. Only small issue was the tightness of the tolerances between the limbs and the ILF fittings. Bottom limb was a perfect fit tight, clicked in and out as expected. The top limb required a few attempts and some wiggling and force but ultimately it clicked. Removal of top limb is a bit of a chore but a bit easier then first time. Still a very good value for the $.Bow is very quiet and consistently accurate.

I am 65 years old and have been an archer for the past 50 years. This year I made a decision to get back into traditional archery while I still could.I am used to using the best equipment. I didn't want to spend a fortune on this project. This bow is a great piece of equipment. Everything about it met or exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a beginner or, an experienced archer. This bow is for you.I can't wait to hunt with it.

This is an excellent recurve at any price point but especially $300. The quality is excellent, it is made with high end materials and components, and the performance is exceptional. I’m new to traditional archery but have handled a few different bows from $100 to $1000 and I think this is as good if not better than any of them. I wanted a quality bow to learn with thinking I would upgrade later but an upgrade is not needed. This is the only bow you’ll ever have to buy.

I don't write many reviews, so, for me to take the time to write this speaks volumes. First off, I am quite impressed with the customer service the seller's company provides. I was sent messages regarding the delivery of the product. Delivery was supposed to come between April 24-29 and I received it on the 18th. Way before I was expecting it. Now, onto the bow itself, I am quite impressed with the bow itself. Carbon foam limbs make this bow well worth the purchase. Although, the bow itself is quite noisy, it still does not take away from the performance. Limb silencers and the such can quiet her down I'm sure. Nice flemish twist string comes with this bow, usually I would have to buy a different string for a newly bought bow because some inexpensive bows come with crappy strings. But not this one. The glove fits good and probably useful but I normally like using finger tabs as I shoot 3 under. Armguard is all leather with bungee cord to hold onto your arm. I would most likely use it as a backup...I do like it actually. Also came with string silencers (haven't attached mine yet), a stringer and also the limbs and riser came in seperate pouches that are very well made and look, feel very durable. This bow is quite accurate, I was shooting like a champ this morning from 15 yards away. Reccomended??? 1000% YES!!!!
