I ordered this vacuum a few weeks ago and the on/off button would stick and you could not turn it on and off. I sent the first one back, received the same one as a replacement now the on/off button is stuck in the on position. At first I thought it may just be something not right with the first one I ordered, however, this seems to be the case with all of them made at the same time. I ordered these in the past and did not have a problem until now. I think the seller should be aware of this and not sell anymore until this issue is worked out with these vacuum cleaners. They are not cheap and I did not expect to have such an inconvenience with this particular model machine. I am very disappointed.

Replaced a 10-yr-old commercial Eureka with this Sanitaire. This one is much lighter and easier to use. Hope it's as durable... Very pleased with this purchase.(The Eureka got REALLY noisy after debris from a belt break caused a motor fan fin to break, making the thing too loud to use)

This vacuum is a little workhorse on carpet. The suction is great and it really brushes the carpet well. Unfortunately, I am a gullible fool and purchased the bags that Amazon recommends to go along with this.... BEWARE BUYERS, this does not use paper bags.

The best. After years of plastic dump containers decided to go back to an old fashioned bag. This vacumn does a fantastic job. No frills just plain old vacumn. Great suction power and propels itself forward like a rocket. Get one!

Thrilled that the vacuum is light, rolls easily, gets underneath my sleigh bed, and has great suction for my Oriental carpets...just right.I wouldn't consider the vacuum a commercial heavy weight but for home use I can see it lasting a very long time.I took another reviewers suggestion and bought separately the red bag that takes paper disposable bags inserts, works brilliantly. Highly recommend. Guy

So, my 15+plus year Eureka Complete Clean was no longer working. It had a torn hose and Eureka doesn't make them anymore. I only loved it due to the heavy duty suction and leaving 'great' lines in carpet. I wanted a new canister but was unable to find one with a power roller/brush I bought a Bissell something upright, broke on first use, returned. So, I was once again searching for a vacuum. I find this one for 150.00...it has metal wands, metal bottom, a power roller/brush (not self propelled but...) I decided to try this. It arrived within 2 days, it was easy to put together. I have vacuumed my entire house. I have small home and only needed to unplug once and move to another socket once, so the cord is super long for me. I must say, I am impressed. Now, I can't see how much is sucked up into bag, I will definitely check. I was able to vacuum all area rugs on '1' setting btw. So far, so good. Well worth the money.. I have literally had it less than an hour.

Bought 2 of these just to vaccum a couple of runner mats in a store and they have been very unreliable.Constantly breaking belts, on/off switch stopped working , clips that hold the cord broke ect. Staff hates them. Commercial vaccum my ass don't waste your money like we did !
