I grabbed these for when I get around to painting my 20 year old truck. They are of high quality material and will surely reach those areas that you can't otherwise. The sandpaper that came with them, however, is what I believe to be for a table top sander. It's sanding belts. Far too stiff to wrap around these blocks so I'm not sure what they were thinking there.

This is my review of Imlevop Sanding Block Kit with Sandpaper 7 Pieces Flexible EVA Foam Wet or Dry. I ordered this product for use in my wood shop. I typically make my own blocks from wood scrap but wanted to try a dedicated sanding block material. I was expecting this item would be like sanding with a wet noodle, I could not have been more wrong. The EVA foam provides a solid platform with the slightest amount of flex which prevents the flat edges on rounded surfaces for example. The flatness of the blocks is good, and the surface accepts PSA sheets of paper. I used a few of the blocks to sand the surfaces of my recent projects and found they worked out well. I did not use the included 80 grit sandpaper so I cannot comment on that part of the product. I feel the sanding blocks have met my expectations; therefore, I will rate it 4 stars.

This is a nice sanding block set that gives several profile and sizes. Some are a bit long to be practical, but can easily be cut to the size you need. Firm but not hard, but also not so soft that they allow you to sand divots into your piece. Seems to be holding up very well. And surprise! Comes with some course grit sand paper (60 or 80 grit?) to get you started! A nice value add.

This set of sanding blocks has a wide variety of shapes and sizes. They are foam not rigid plastic or rubber so they can contour to just about any surface. If you have the sandpaper with a sticky back it will probably be best since there are no clips to attach the sandpaper. I did not have any so I used them without being fixed to the sanding block and they actually worked quite well. In a couple of cases it was advantageous to fix the paper so i used thumb tacks. The large flat ones worked well for sanding drywall seams. I used the round tube to sand some irregular surfaces on a piece I was refinishing with good results. I love that they come in a storage case so I always know where to find them when I need one.

At first, I thought these were going to be useless and annoying to use because they don’t have clips to hold the sandpaper in place. Without the clips, it was a lot easier to manipulate the sandpaper and actually get more use out of each piece since the areas on the paper that would be underneath the clips or on the sides often get wasted.I used them to sand my bathroom vanity cabinets before repainting. The cabinets have some design to them, so I had to sand inside of some corners and channels. These blocks come in a variety of shapes, so it one block can’t reach a surface that needs to be sanded, there is likely another block that can be used. The one thing I unfortunately didn’t think about until later was the need to protect your hands and fingers with gloves while using these. When I was holding the sandpaper on the blocks, the friction rubbed my fingers and they were sore for the next several days. Besides that, I am looking forward to my next project using these blocks.

These foam blocks and pieces work great with PSA or sticky back sandpaper. They are super lightweight and the blocks are nice and flat. The different shapes are especially good when sanding something with complex contours such as a car fender or while doing auto body work. They are not hard plastic but rather a dense foam that has some give to it.I have used them while sanding baseboard trim and the long block also worked great for sanding drywall mud and keeping the tapered joint perfectly flat. Of course sanding plastic filler for auto body is something they would be great for due to the nice variety of shapes. The flat sponge pad works good on gentle curves and can be used with just a half sheet of regular non sticky back sandpaper.I have slowly transitioned over the past few years and went from using regular sandpaper to almost exclusively using the sticky back paper and these foam blocks because it just works better and is very economical. I think you will be happy with this high quality kit.

The quality and shapes of these sanding blocks are very satisfactory. Several feet of coarse sandpaper are also included. The round rod shaped sanding block is excellent for sanding burrs from the inside rim of cut pipe. The minor downside is that I'll need to figure out a different storage container; the box these came in is very snug. These sanding blocks are made in China, though inside the box is a card that looks like a Made in USA promo card (has bald eagle, red, white, and blue stripes), but if you look closely, it's just about USA support. I don't mind if these are made in China if they serve the purpose. Don't try to trick me into thinking these are made in the USA.
