You will not regret buying this. Yes, you need to put it together. It took me a few hours, I’m older with a terrible back but I enjoyed assembly because it is well build and everything went together great. Instructions were very well done. They could have gone into more detail with some of it but overall using common sense the instructions were fine. Get the dust collector if you can. I didn’t but added it a week later wishing I just got everything together.

Just be aware it takes a couple of hours to assemble the cabinet it seems sturdy but the instructions are not the best
