Perfect for my three year old nephew! What's not to like? It's got construction vehicles, sand, signs. I do recommend getting a different bin--like one with a lid, solid plastic--the one it comes with is sort of cloth-like and doesn't have a lid--trust me, a lid definitely helps keep the mess in check, although the sand is like kinetic sand. Great little set. Highly recommend.

Amazing sand box set. This is such a unique idea, I love that the sand and all the toys are contained to the little sandbox and that the kid can even play with it inside the house. The box that the set came in is very nice which would make a perfect gift. My son is 2.5 years old and he loves this kit and it keeps him occupied for hours. The kit has 8 construction vehicles, a crane, trees and this interesting play sand that makes it possible to make little sand castles. Overall this kit is incredible and I highly recommend this to all parents whose kids love construction toys!

Just as I did when I was a child, my two grandsons love to play in the sand with their cars and trucks, building roads, rivers, castles, and lakes. Unfortunately, with seven months of winter, they end up going a long time where sun and sandboxes are just a pleasant memory.This set does a great job of moving sand play inside! The large, attractively illustrated box is full of toys. In addition to two 1lb packs of “magic” sand, there are two separate sets of play vehicles, one featuring larger toys (a large crane, an excavator, a bulldozer, and a forklift) and another set featuring toys comparable to Hot Wheels cars in size (a dump truck, a drill truck, a road roller, a bulldozer, and an excavator). In addition to the vehicle sets, there are four road workers (each doing a different job), some traffic signs, four trees, six assorted sand castle molds, a small shovel, and a small rake.For me, the highlight of the toy is the fold out sand box which holds the kinetic sand. Sturdily built and easy to set up, it provides a structured play area for children to play in. Happily, it has a zippered cover which allows for the toys to be “left out” for short periods rather than always putting it away. Both the large and small sets of vehicles feature machines that are nicely detailed and, considering that they are made of plastic, relatively sturdy. All of the machines roll along well have movable equipment, something I know our grandsons appreciate. The shovel and rake are made of very lightweight plastic; this is also true of the extremely tiny castle molds. There is nothing very special about the other accessories, they are essentially dollar store quality. There are enough vehicles and little pieces (men and road signs) to keep two or three children occupied in cooperative play at one time.I quite like the “magic” sand included in this set. True to the claims made on the product page, it has a great consistency, molds into shapes easily, and doesn’t adhere to hands or fingers.I understand that the toys included in this set need to be small simply so they can fit inside the indoor sand tray that the set comes with. While these toys aren’t particularly well made, I am satisfied that they will do nicely for the small scale play which the sand tray allows. I am not usually a fan of sets like this but, as previously mentioned, the zippered sand tray which allows indoor play is a great feature, greatly expanding the usability of the set. Although I know that our grandsons will really enjoy this set, at its current price of $45 CAD (with coupon) the set still feels a bit pricey.

Kids like the toy. The trucks are on the flimsy side, not sure how long they will hold up, but again I am considering the price point. More sand should be included. The sand included doesn’t even cover the bottom. I will need to purchase more sand.

The sand is the winner in this set. It's super soft silky and moldable. Very smooth. The toys are kinda cheap but they work and make sense for this kit. I do like the box. Helps to keep things cleaner.

This sand set is great. It is very good quality and includeds so much more then any other set I have found. There are some sand castle molds, a little shovel & rake, alot of construction vehicles, roads signs, worker figures, trees and 2 bags of sand. Unlike most other sets this one comes with a fold up bin that zips shut. It's a good size for individual play. It's easy to clean up. The sand is not sticky or as messy a regular sand. My youngest loves construction trucks and playing in sand. With winter months fast approaching this set will allow him to continue playing with his favorite toys regardless of weather. He has been having so much fun with this set. This is easy to travel with and everything fits in the fold up bin for easy storage.

Everything fits nicely into the folding sand box and it comes with many tools to play in the sand. Kids love the sand and toys. Hours of fun. There were lots of construction truck for them all to share. I love all the extras it comes with. Would make a great gift!

I love sensory bins, and this one specifically comes in a cloth container that you can zip up, which is nice some of the items that the kit are little flimsy, but most of them are pretty cool and keep toddler occupied. I’m really picky on the texture because everyone makes a different type, but this one is really nice and soft like kinetic sand. I feel like most of these hands are sticky and this is probably like in the middle

This is a really fun Kid's Construction Sand Playset. It comes with a zippered portable case, play sand, construction workers, construction signs, interactive construction work vehicles, sand shovels and even more! You can fill different sand buckets to build different designed sandcastles or use the sand in the construction vehicles and work zones you create. This special sand is not messy and a lot of fun to play with. The construction vehicles move forward on flat surfaces once you pull them back. The forklift and bigger construction vehicles move slowly forward when pulled back to wind them too. I think it's awesome and a top #10 toy too. Excellent gift choice. Two thumbs up for sure!! Xo

We took this set to a hotel as a surprise in case my toddler needed something to do. It came very much in handy. Not only did the entertain him on and off for hours, but it was nice to have it all contained inside the case. The sand and toys all fit comfortably inside the zip-up case and make clean up non-existent. The sand is very similar to kinetic sand and doesn't have a dirty feeling when playing with it. There's a lot of toy trucks and accessories included to make a fun scene.
