These have nice wood handles and a nice variety of shapes and styles. They not super sturdy feeling so wouldn't be your heavy duty beach toy but perfect for younger children just leaning to use their hands and explore. They work great in the back yard too at the sandbox or to feel like helping mommy with the gardening.

These survived a week at the beach with my kids and still look great. What else can I say about them after that? Most plastic stuff seems to break in the first day or two but these fit the bill. The only downside is that they were a little smaller than I was imagining. The size listing in the description is accurate, so that is more on me than the product.

We used these on the beach as complimentary tools to the other beach sets we brought. These are great to have to move sand around when building forts and castles in the sand. They are also useful for making designs by raking the sand in different directions and creating different shaped holes. Fun stuff!

I got this kid’s gardening tool set for my son so he could help me in the garden. I was somewhat optimistic about this set because it has wooden handles and metal ends, and is not made of cheap plastic. I liked that the set included different tool ends like rounded and pointed shovels, rake, and spoon. I also really liked the bright colors of each tool. I especially liked the price point of this tool set. Here is the one problem with this gardening tool set. The tiny screw. Within five minutes of my son using the shovel, the screw holding the wooden handle to the metal tool head broke in half. I was able to fix the shovel by putting in a new and more sturdy screw, but I should not have to do this. I think these tools might hold up if only used in very loose sand, but the tiny screw is just too weak for the tools to be used in soil or dirt.In the off chance the seller or manufacturer reads this review, this could be a much better product if you were to use a stronger screw. That’s it. Invest another penny or two, and you could charge double for this kid’s gardening tool set. The quality of everything else is excellent. It's just the screw.
