Using this to sterilise my baby bottles on holiday! It is easy to use, sturdy enough and has a lid for added functionality. Folds small so fits in to my luggage no problem. Would recommend.

I should have read the other reviews but I assumed it'd be possible to secure the lid on but it does just sit on there and is basically pointless. It doesn't seal enough to keep out smells and if tipped over would spill everything.

I bought this bucket to use as a compost bin. As another reviewer wrote, the lid does not snap on but rather just sits there. I would prefer a snap-on lid, but I decided to keep this because it was a low price (under 10). I haven't had any problems with fruit flies--perhaps because the lid is snug if not secure. I've let food scraps sit in it for a few days before hauling to the compost heap. A few days ago, I put it in the dishwasher (bottom rack) to see if it would survive, and it did! That's what led me to write a review. It was still a little stained after washing in the dishwasher, but I don't really care about that. If I can sterilize it in the dishwasher every now and then, and the lid is "enough" to thwart fruit flies, I'm totally pleased with it.

Is one of the very few buckets that comes with a lid in this collapsible design style. Was very pleased when I found it and was very affordable considering was one of very few of this style.Collapses very small and so can be stored in small spaces when it's not being used.At the moment we use it for soaking small children's clothes that get dirty very easily especially when weaning. However I know it can be used for traveling if your cold water sterilizing this could be a great alternative to a big bucket as it can fold flat in your suitcase and take up very little space.Colours neutral so I don't mind the grey.Not water tight. As lid sits on loosely. But I don't need it to do that so don't mind.So many different uses all around the house so would definitely recommend!

I got this for my food scrapes to take out to compost pile, it is perfect! fits on the bottom shelf of my fridge so it isn't a must that it go out immediately.
