These tubs are commonly used for ice cream. They have an attractive glossy finish and a small radius on the lower edge. Tubs for these applications tend to be light weight. While not as heavy as our buckets they are not as flimsy as we might otherwise expect. Though they are not marked with a wall thickness, we measure the wall thickness at about 50 mil. Capacity is marked both as 9.5 Liters and 2.5 Gallons. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The lid snaps on with a nice fit. The recess in the op of the lid serves to accommodate the bottom of another tube and allows for stacking within reason. The tub and lid together weigh about 0.78 lbs (about 12 1/2 oz). Height is about 10.5" with the lid installed. The diameter of the base is about 8.4" on the outside. The diameter of the outside of the rim of the tub (without the lid) is about 9.7". The outside diameter of the lid is about 9.75".

These tubs work great. I ise them for a variety things like ice cream storage, dry good storage, kitchen tool storage, the uses are only limited by your mind. They are quite sturdy and clean up easily.

I wish these were a little bit more sturdy and had a lip on the rim of the top for easy opening but overall a nice bucket. will update you on how long it lasts.

This is just what we were looking for to store some things in, we actually purchased 6 and were so happy we got 6 more. We were not storing food so we didn't want the more expensive containers specifically made for food storage, these were perfect for what we needed!

These buckets are the perfect size for what I need them for. I wish they had a handle. They are not hard to carry if you put light stuff in them, but they are hard to handle when they are full of heavy things.

Used these for our in house made ice cream at the cafe'. Works perfect and comes with a lid to keep from getting freezer burn. Thanks.

Be warned they are not the exact size as ropak containers. You can not interchange lids between the two different types and the base is different, although that’s not an issue. Good tubs, but upset about the fact I can’t use the lids from ropak and vice versa. Only bought to add More tubs to our ice cream shop.
