For reference, I own a Celestron Omni XLT 102 on a CG-4 EQ mount. The 40" bag fits both the OTA, tripod minus the mount, and all the accessories. It comes with a smaller bag which holds both counter weights. I'm sure I could break down the mount to fit it, but it's not an issue carrying it separate. The side accessory compartment is perfect for the guide scope, and all the rods and washers used in the assembly of the tripod and mount. It has a descent amount of padding and I personally wouldn't use it for a Newtonian. I have a hard case due to how easy it is to mess up the collimation. It's a user preference, do as you please with your OTA.The bag isn't the highest quality feeling. My concerns, which only time will tell, are the connection points where the straps meet the bag. Having owned many soft rifle carrying cases, those are the failure points. I also will be monitoring the zippers as those also fail in budget weapon bags. I use weapon bags as my comparison bc this is essentially a glorified weapon bag.I do recommend this product having used it outside everyday for a week. It's been taken out of my truck every night for a week and placed on the ground turning assembly. My concerns are not indictive to any failures; the bag has worked perfectly so far. For a few extra dollars, you can get the Celestron bag, which I assume is made in the same factory in China. I've never owned it and could be incorrect. Good luck

This was perfect for my 102mm Astrotech ED f/7 refractor with Stellarvue alt-az mount and wood tripod. It's a heavy set-up, but the bag handles all of it, no problem, with plenty of room for eyepieces and tools, etc. Includes small bag that is great for large eyepieces. Rugged and well-padded. Love it!

I was able to put all the components for my 130 mm telescope into this bag. It comes with a separate small bag for your lenses. Looks to be pretty well made. There's enough padding inside to keep everything safe.

This bag can contain everything for the Orion Space Probe 130ST, a 130mm Newtonian reflector w/ EQ mount, the tripod, and all accessories. I was able to leave the EQ mount on the tripod (counterweight bar removed) and fit that in one side, and put the OTA and counterweight in the other side. I removed the finder scope from the OTA just to be safe, but it would fit with it still mounted. There's a velcro divider for the OTA side to protect it from the counterweight. The bag seems to be good quality, with metal zippers and metal D-rings and clips for the shoulder strap. The clips inside the bag hold everything very securely. The bag isn't rigid, so it will sag in the middle when you pick it up, but the tripod being strapped in tightly does help a bit with that. This bag won't protect the OTA from rough handling, so I wouldn't take it to the airport or anything, but it does offer a convenient way to transport everything and should protect against minor bumps/scratches/light handling. Much better than carrying everything by hand.

I can describe this product in one word; PERFECT! This case provides stellar protection for my scope and tripod. I own a Celestron XLT 120mm refractor scope with a CG4 equatorial mount and tripod. I am easily able to house the scope and tripod in the case; however, I have a separate case for the equatorial mount and eyepieces. This case provides stellar protection for my scope and tripod that allows easy transport. Also, provided with this product is a separate heavy-duty case for the equatorial counter weights. This case is constructed of durable materials with interior padding that will provide ample protection of your scope and tripod while being made to provide many years of use. Overall, this case is a value for those that want to be able to protect their instruments and have the ability for easy transport and storage.

Great size, should meet most user needs. Appears to be good quality and construction. Lots of pockets to keep things organized. Any users concerned with size, understand if you have a lot of peripheral gear this might not be the one stop solution. Those folks need a hockey bag!

Tenía mis dudas pero mi teles cupo sin problemas, inclusive le cabe uno de mayor tamaño, por lo que es excelente para muchos telescopios de un tamaño similar.

I got this bag to take my CELESTRON StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ on vacation, and it didn't disappoint. It is kind relatively basic and not fancy, but it does get the job done. I kept the blister foil from the telescope's original packaging and use it as additional padding in the bag, and so far no issues at all.It has enough space to accommodate for everything the telescope came with, plus some additional accessories. It is also easy to carry, and well balanced when distributing weight equally while packing.I first found it kind of expensive for what it is, but I guess it is ok if it holds up as well as it promises. If it does I would also trust it with more expensive equipment later on...
