I'm using this isolated differential probe to connect to high-voltage sources safely. Even with battery power to float scope's ground, this isolates scope from power source so it's not at high potential all over. This is also useful for making two measurements from a circuit, each with a different ground reference. Noise is noticeable so not good for very small signals (5 MHz BW limit reduces it significantly). Isolation resistance is about 10 MΩ between probes and scope side. Scope unit is a little bulky, but adding a BNC L adapter gets it out of the way.Cables and test clips are well-insulated and seem well-made. Signal and USB cables have noticeable shielding. USB adapter has low noise (24 mV p-p, 0.7 mV AC RMS ripple at 43 kHz), though I used my scope's USB since it's even lower noise.I measured 19.94 MΩ between probes, 9.73 MΩ isolation (same for 100x and 1000x modes). Noise AC RMS at 100x is 71 mV (22 mV w/ 5 MHz BW), at 1000x is 196 mV (115 mV w/ 5 MHz BW), with scope's noise at 1.4 mV. Capacitance between probes is 9.5 pF, 15 pF between probes and scope side. I tested CMRR by shorting probes and connecting to AC socket, but saw no waveform on output, so it's rejecting that well. I was able to measure 70 MHz signals easily (VGA video signal).

I own several scopes but have not owned a differential probe that will allow me to make measurements at higher voltages. This setup arrives in a storage case that protects the item when not in use. They have included a calibration certificate and it lists the equipment used in that process. This appears to be well made and the materials used seem to be of good quality. The wire is very flexible and the connectors are decent. Recommended test accessory.

Random chance was in my favor when this came up in my vine feed. This is something I'm personally unlikely to ever budget for, but I've wanted one for a long time. So at this moment I'm basically giddy with joy.I'm just a hobbyist and I never work with "high" voltage - AC mains is about my limit, but I do like being protected from ground loops and all that, and this thing gives me a pretty awesome way to do that.I set up a test rig (see pics) to measure output from a 24vac transformer so that I could compare direct probe measurement with differential measurement. The test setup is as follows:1) AC mains -> variac2) variac -> isolation transformer3) isolation transformer -> both a modbus measuring device (split core) and a power strip4) power strip -> primary winding on a 24vac transformer5) secondary winding to three things: a) a 60 ohm resistive load (transformer loaded to very close to rating) b) differential probe (this item) c) directly connected 10x probe6) probes to scope, ch1 = differential, ch2 = directThe grafana screenshot shows this from the side of the primary winding, the scope shows two traces from the secondary. I offset the traces on the display to give a clear view of each waveform. The differential probe is set to 100x attenuation (and the scope is set to match on ch1). The direct probe is 10x.The peak to peak and rms values (near the bottom of the scope screen) are sufficiently in agreement so as to make me a very happy camper.This thing is very easy to use - just attach the bit with the bnc connector to a scope probe connector and a usb power supply, set attenuation (and make sure the scope agrees). Zero it by shorting the test leads and pressing "Zero". After that you're off to the races.You'll note in the photo that I'm using the gigantic clip probes that come with the unit. The reason for that is that the test lead connections coming out of the differential probe's measuring unit have the banana jacks in what I've learned is a conventional arrangement for high voltage systems: the side you plug the probe into is male. All my probes are for female sockets so I've got some adapters on order. In the mean time I use the giganto-probes that came with it.The price per unit is on the low side for differential probes of this type, and given that for my purposes it works flawlessly, I'm gonna say that the price per unit is fair. Five stars.
