The photos show 50 individual packets but what you really get is 25 packs with 2 swabs in each. So each swab is almost $1.00! That may not seem much but if you are using this 3x/day that can really add up. No, thanks! Instead, I'm going to buy the untreated swabs separately and soak them in Crest mouthwash which is the same ingredient as the solution provided. Will cost me a fraction of the cost of these swabs. Do your wallet a favor and avoid this product at this price when there are better alternatives.

My dad is in a nursing home as you can imagine oral care was not getting done. So I purchased these items and started doing his oral care. Dad’s mouth is fresh and his tongue is getting clean. They also help with providing moisture. It seems to sting him a little bit and he’s not soo crazy about the taste. I picked this product because it is what they used to care for his mouth during his hospitalization.

The hospital used these swabs to clean my mother's mouth out when she had a stroke so I bought them for the aids to use to clean out her mouth. They work great.

My sister is now in a nursing home and can no longer eat or drink. Prior to this, she was in a hospital and they were using these same swabs. I loved them and was very happy when I found them here on Amazon. There is a packet of mouthwash inside...all you do is squeeze and pop it open, then open the pack and the swabs are ready to use. Since my sister aspirates liquids, I use a paper towel to squeeze out the excess mouthwash before I swab her mouth. The ridges on the swab also work like a tooth brush. The minty flavor helps to change the taste in her mouth which is welcomed since she cannot eat or drink. These swabs are wonderful and I easily gave them 5 stars!
