They work great. Occassionally (maybe 1 per bag) we have one that's broken or very weak. I thought I had to live with this, but we had another brand that was slightly stronger yet about the same thickness. I may start looking for that brand instead, depending on the price.

I use these to clean the hard to reach spots in my guns. At the price I got 10,000 of these for, I love em. Would recommend, especially for those of you who have to clean star chambers.

Not much else to say. They're swabs, they swab. Wooden shafts plenty strong, cotton stays put. Unlike the ear-cleaning brand with ultra-flexible shafts, I can use these for all sorts of cleaning since the shafts won't flex much.

These swabs seem strong and are very consistent in the amount of cotton on the end. They have come in handy for cleaning electronics and jewelry. Too much pressure applied too far down the stick and they do break, but then they are made of thin wood, so that is expected. I also like the fact that the cotton doesn't come off when used like other 'popular brands' do. I will be buying again.
