Not pet friendly. Decent for ice/snow melt. However, when my dog, who loves going out in the snow, gets it stuck in her paws, she starts "dancing" from pain. Once I wipe it off with my glove, it is fine.

Surprised by how well this worked in a recent bout of horribly cold and windy weather. Better than most animal safe ice melt. The canister is very easy to handle and distributes granules well.Took 1 star off for the high price
