When I open the bag to use it, it was solid as a rock. I tried to break it up into small pieces and it was the worst bag of salt I ever bought.

Hard to describe how bad this product is. It arrived, appearing to be a damp bag of gravel. Left the bag in the garage after using some, and the bag froze solid. If the product freezes, how well do you think it melts ice? What I have used works like gravel, gives some traction, but has virtually no ability to melt ice. This is in 25* F weather...

The product works but I product more like rock salt and you could buy rock salt for a lot less.

Worked well. Did not need to use to much. After a snowny winter in which I used over 200lbs of salt on my sidewalk I found this was reliable.
