I kept these because they are so clever and compact. However, no way to hook or lock the 2 sides in place and tricky to get them back together if you want to or accidently get them apart.

This is my second purchase of this product. I have the first one by my desk at home and the second by my desk in the office. At the office, we have to separate all our garbage and bring it to a centralized area for recycling and compost so it helps to be able to split it out as garbage builds through the day. These are lightweight , easy to connect together and and easy to disconnect.

I love that these hang together. They use the trash bags we buy for use in our bathrooms, so nothing special required. I found these a little small for my at-home office - paperless offices are a lie. But these are great for the craft room. The trash can is for threads and teensy bits of fabric; the recycle is for small boxes we have beads and such shipped in. Works great.

Like the upgraded larger bins. Great for teaching kids and adults (lol) how to Recycle. The larger bins allow for fewer trips to larger home recycling bins. Well made and very sturdy.

Used "can be bought from other sources" and selected one that suggested it had light use (about $20). When we received it, it was brand new. Took it out of the box, put it together in 5 seconds and placed it into one of the bathrooms for guests, having lined the black section for waste.No complaints, it met the need perfectly and when supply chains have settled down, will look to buy another couple.

I bought this recycling trash can to save space in a small office. I like that it has one side for each trash and recycling. It comes apart easily, which is actually why I knocked off a star. Sometimes if I hit is with my foot (under my desk) by accident, it comes apart. I would still recommend, as it is a space saver, eliminating the need for separate trash and recycling bins. It is pretty sturdy and looks good under my desk.

I had been searching for bins to place under my sink and everything was too big. These bins are absolutely perfect for under the sink. They come apart pretty easily which isn't a bad thing since one bin gets filled more quickly than the other and need to be dumped more often. Definitely recommend!

Fits great under the sink, and love the dual compartments. I guess the only bummer is when you pick it up to dump the contents, the pieces come apart and can be awkward to carry.

I was constantly sorting out my bedroom trash on trash night to separate out paper/cardboard/plastic items for recycling while sifting through tissues and such that were trash. I don't have space for 2 cans though and found this product to work perfectly in my case. I use little bath can style cheap liners on the trash side and they fit great even on the half circle odd shape. Once you slide the 2 sides together the joint holds up the bag to keep it from slipping as well. I was a bit hesitant to spend a bit much for plastic cans, but these are made well and will hold up for many years (even the joint pieces are very sturdy on the plastic). If you need a separated can and are considering this, I'd recommend it. I like that I can also put the trash one separately right next to my bed out of its usual space if I have a cold or something where I'm using more tissues as well. It fits snug and against my lower style platform bed frame perfectly.
