Kitchen can is a nice size and functions well. Small can also works very well and doesn't tip when you use the foot pedal like other small ones I've tried in the past.

I have to say, I’m really impressed with this trash can. It’s more than just a place to toss your garbage – it actually adds a sleek, modern look to the kitchen. I’ve seen some people mention the smudge resistance could be better, and the lid doesn’t always seal as tightly as I’d like. These are absolutely wonderful. The larger can is perfect for the kitchen, no touch to open with messy hands and self closing. The quality is excellent and it's very stylish, no hiding this from view.

I’m very happy with the large waste can, which arrived in excellent condition. But the 2nd can is too small to be useful. Not even as big as my “slim” wastebasket in my bedroom.You could use it to fit a few small water bottles or some used Kleenex. Not much else. (It might make a good car wastebasket, but that’s not what I bought it for.) However, I bought them as a combo and I’m happy with the large one, so I’m just keeping both. But I wish I’d only bought the large one.

so I LOVE these trash cans, but they are most definitely not "smudge proof" I windex them daily... WARNING be extremely careful when changing out the garbage, my boyfriend was taking the garbage out and the removable inner bucket just cracked all over... now without the removable inner bin the whole trash can becomes useless, its impossible to get a bag to stay in it so I knew I had to replace the inner bin which is not available on amazon so I called the support line and although the customer service was wonderful and they told me what to do, I was shocked when I saw the cost of replacing the flimsy little inner bucket!! and the warranty that comes with the product doesn't cover anything!! I just feel as though some sort of discount should have been applied since these garbage bins already come at a pretty hefty price. regardless, just be extremely careful and gentle with the inner bins!

Absolutely loved my purchase. I ordered the combo pack that came with the 13.2 gallon and 1.32 gallon trash cans. The 13.2 gallon trash can is wide enough to fit at least two large Dominos pizza boxes comfortably (how's that for a measurement). You can purchase the companies specialized trash bags, but you definitely don't need to--I didn't and it works perfectly fine. You can sometimes see the smudges, but a simple disinfectant wipe or a wet paper towel will easily remove the smudge. Glad I invested in this product!

Convenient features that work in my kitchen: 1) The lid can be lifted with your hand to the open position when you are cooking. With just a tap of the open lid it slowly closes without banging shut. 2) There is an inner liner that can easily be removed for cleaning. 3) Any brand of 13 gallon trash bags fits the inner liner and is hidden from view by the stainless steel lid. 4) The step pedal is sturdy and the lifting mechanism is hidden within the stainless steel body. 5) There is a deodorizing filter that can easily be changed. 6) Included is a smaller trash can that works equally well.
