Headphone jack on my laptop was only working when the jack was pushed to one side. Couldn't really get at the socket with the way the laptop casing is to try and move it. This cable worked as soon as it was plugged in, no drivers to install, just plug and play.

I used to use a ugreen adapter but it was old and bulky around the 3.5 jack. This one has a longer cable and has a more standard profile so it looks better. My headphones have a semi short cable but this also gives just enough extra length that the cable length is no longer an issue. I would recommend. The device is also plug and play so you don't need to worry about installing drivers. Also, most computers will switch to the newest installed device so you can quickly use your headset or speakers after plugging in the device.

I got a new monitor that did not have 3.5 out. I liked to just plug one plug in from my Baseus dual monitor dock to my steam deck. Got this and works perfectly on my steam deck. Don't notice any latency, don't notice games are slower in gaming mode normal mode or in desktop mode. Amazing it works for desktop and the regular gaming mode.No noise from device when not working. Volume is loud and very clear. PerfectWorks pefectly for windows pcs as well.

(Uso le fanatic ) Allora prima di usare il prodotto sentivo bene onestamente , ma ho l’impressione che usando il jack i rumori sono leggermente più forti e più puliti , io ho voluto comprare questo adattatore perché l’altro che avevo ( quello in dotazione delle cuffie fanatic) non stava funzionando più bene , ve lo consiglio perché a me oltre il beneficio di un filo nuovo , mi ha dato una prestazione in più alle cuffie

J'avais un casque avec micro que je connecte en Bluetooth à mon pc portable, mais sur mon pc de bureau ce type de connexion n'est pas possible, ni celle en jack 3.5, seul l'USB est possible. Cet adaptateur a parfaitement répondu à ma problématique.

Nicely done, SABRENT. Another fine product. The order came ahead of schedule, well-protected, well-made, and ready to go, right out the box. Simple plug-and-play and it functions as it's supposed to, and as expected. You get what you pay for. It wasn't expensive, and the Brand is one to be trusted. I've never bought a SABRENT product that has let me down. So, if you look to the reviews to decide to purchase or not, then read mine and take me at my word. I will not lie to you. I’m really happy the device can be used to digitise analogous audio from 3.5mm output (headphones). Yes, the device is recognised by iOS as an external audio input. Yes, it works with standard Apple Voice Memo app. Yes, the audio output is standard headphones output. Yes, the recording level is fine, it is recognised properly as line-in, and not as a mic. No, I didn’t test the stereo recording.I used a standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. The only trick is what you see on the 2nd photo. You have to insert the cable halfway through, right before it meets the resistance of an internal switch. Maybe with a different cable it can be connected normally, but I’m pretty happy with my setup. 5/5 as it does what I need - record from headphones output of my voice recorder.

Pros:Eliminated static that my motherboard audio out was causing on my speakers.ConsWould set itself to the max volume every time it woke up from sleep. This blew my eardrums out a few times before I ripped it out and returned it.
