This USB A to 3.5 mm adapter makes it easy to provide an audio out port on computers or laptops that do not have such a port. Here are my thoughts on it.Pros:- Small size. Fits in a coin pocket on a pair of jeans. This is how small it is.- The wire that protrudes from the USB A port makes it easy for the 3.5 mm female port to be accessed if there is any congestion if the USB A port is beside a slew of other USB A cables.- There were no fitment issues, especially on the 3.5 mm female end. Build quality was good for the price.Cons:- Would have been great if mic (audio in) connectivity was present.Overall, given how it so easily transforms an ordinary USB A port into a 3.5 mm audio port, I do recommend it for its functionality.

I like this usb-a to 3.5mm jack adapter. I am using it with my headset that needs that extra length and stability with using this adapter. I have a laptop and with using this adapter it doesn't work right away but, with my desktop, as it has a usb-a port built-in, it works better. My MacBook Pro 13" M1 only has type-c ports so this works well with my Mac desktop. I fully recommend.

EDIT: Restarting the computer makes it such that the volume is always at 100% regardless what the OS shows. Have to manually unplug and re-plug in the USB. SUPER ANNOYING.It's hard to beat this 2-pack for just $5 ($2.50 each). The setup was plug-and-play—super easy. Both the audio and microphone worked as expected. Top quality? Nah, but it gets the job done. No logo printed on the dongle which is a plus in my books. The most surprising thing was that the inline controls on my Bose wired earbuds worked seamlessly with this adapter. On my Windows 11 setup and through a cheap TRRS extension cable, the Play/Pause and Volume +/- buttons all functioned perfectly. The only real downside is a background hum when nothing is playing, especially if the volume is set high in the settings. If it weren’t for the low price, I might have docked a star or two for this issue.

These are some tiny little sound dongles! They use a generic USB audio driver, and are perfectly fine for general use and work with just about any computer that supports USB audio.I personally am putting them to use for ham radio soundcard digital modes. The use of a TRRS connector instead of two TRS connectors makes cabling a little easier. No complaints from me!

I ordered this for my streaming setup. When setting up a dual PC streaming setup, audio is the most difficult part. While this specific issue may also exist with a single PC streaming setup, it added to the audio challenges. The problem this solved was with the stock headphone jacks on the PC. The stock jacks have insertion detection. This triggers changes in windows audio when you insert or remove headphones. I use Voice Meter to route audio in from many sources and out to 3 devices. These detections kept causing issues with it. Those 3 devices are my speakers and 2 sets of headphones. Using these adaptors, I can route audio to all 3 devices separately and control the volume of each. It works exactly as it should now and unplugging/plugging a headphone causes no issues. The sound quality and volume were much higher than I expected. I'm not sure how they are doing this in such a tiny device, but I'm very happy with the results.

I bought two of these for the low cost, but found the output volume into my headset so low that made them totally useless. Using the same headset, sound out of another USB to audio adapter is decent:-- USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Headset Adapterhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9HY9BZR?

The product works good but I'm concerned about how thin the wire is.

This is a great audio connector. When you plug in this connector, it will show up in your list of playback devices as "Speakers (AB13X USB Audio)".I'm using it to connect my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset to my laptop. This headset has a single TRRS 3.5mm jack (for both audio and microphone) instead of separate jacks for audio and mic. The TRRS jack fits into this connector tightly (snaps into place) and passes both audio and mic streams via the USB port. The audio I receive using this connector (which has its own 16-bit DAC chip built into it) is every bit as clear as the audio I get using my computer's 3.5mm jack.Initially, my headset's microphone seemed to not be working when connected to this USB connector. It turns out that I had to use the volume adjustment dial on my headset cord to turn up the combined audio/mic volume, then adjust the volume levels of my audio and mic separately using Windows 10's Sound panel. The fact that you get 2 connectors for this low price make this a no-brainer.
