Not is quiet, and the air velocity is not that much. Does not hold a tissue to the fixture.

Has only been in for a week so I'm not sure on it's longevity, but it works much better at clearing moisture from the bathroom than the Broan original unit. Easy to install.

This replacement fan fit into the old unit housing and with a smidgen of adjustment down, the fan whirls perfectly! The fan sat high in the mounting plate so I have to be the mount down a mm or 2. Nothing wrong with the fan/ motor assembly. My mounting plate may have been misaligned from dismounting the original fan motor.

Simply disassemble existing exhaust fan and replace faulty unit with this one. The original mounting bracket is reused. You will not need to climb up in the attic to do this repair. It can be done from below with simple hand tools.Note that new unit has rubber washers that original didn’t have. Use them under steel washer under nut and NOT on fan side of bracket. Otherwise, fan with vibrate.

It was a perfect fit and it was easier to replace the motor than the hole unit.

This Is a great little motor. I replaced the dead motors in my bathroom fans with two of these. It took only a little fiddling. They are slightly larger than the motors they replaced. That seems like a good thing. They move the air. They are relatively quiet. They were half the price of replacing the entire fan assemblies. And, installing them is a lot less work.
