Make sure you measure the length of the rv basement storage locks before you order, these locks will make it difficult for anyone to get into your storage areas in your camper. The locks work like a dream .

I used this to replace the standard Bauer lock that came on my Aliner Ranger. the Trampgik feels sturdier and more solid. It's easy to replace.The old Bauer lock lever became unscrewed on my second trip. It left my cargo door swinging in the breeze as I rolled down the highway.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It took some time to find them none at any of the RV stores even my online search, took at least a month, but that being said these are perfect for any older RVs and I would assume new ones as well. I have a 96 Winnebago the old locks were short and had a larger L-shaped latch from the inside, this fit perfect the longer eats up the space from the old ones and I am particularly impressed. These are the only ones that have the front O-ring would it plastic seems very durable but the lock keeps its self centered and doesn’t fall through. I highly highly recommend this product. I had problems getting them to fit properly and had to bend the flange. I am not sure if these are actually more secure than the original, but at least they look different than the standard RV key and don't invite people to try to unlock them. I would probably look for something else if I needed another set, but would buy these if I wasn't convinced something else was better.

I like the design of these when it comes to locking the storage area. With the standard keyed lock, I would have to push with my free hand. With these, pressing with the key at the same time works perfectly. No more putting things down just to lock it.It came with a gasket, which my original did not have. However, it didn’t come with the larger back washer that was in the original. I reused that one to ensure an even surface.
