The door doesn't unlock with a fingerprint and any finger on the fingerprint button can lock the door even without being programmed.

I didn't activate the fingerprint recognition, as I prefer the numerical pass code feature better. But lock is a high quality product.Easy install, no need to change the striker plate.

This product was easy to install physically and easy to program through the app. I downloaded the app then installed the batteries and followed the prompts. The included instructions were easy to follow and the app is easy to follow. It works flawlessly with my IPhone. Be a little patient when setting up the fingerprint option. It took me about 4 times to get it to take. The instructions say to press your finger/thumb with slight pressure. I had to pull my thumb off and reapply it several times to get it to read my entire thumb. Just keep pressing and applying your finger/thumb in different positions. My wife was able to get her thumb print to work quicker than me and I believe it is because her thumb is smaller. I have a password, thumb print, phone app and key to unlock the door now. All 4 options work flawlessly. Next we will setup the Alexa to it. Very satisfied at this point.

Thank heavens it worked out! It took some adjusting of clearances to get the deadbolt to extend all the way. I was able to connect it to my phone and store my fingerprint. My phone connection works dependably but opening with fingerprint isn't always reliable. I like that I can pull in, use my phone to unlock the door before I get my hands full.
