This works great, especially after our dogs tore a hole in the lower screen on our RV door. Install was straight forward and easy, but it does add some weight to the door, changing how it closes. We used to be able to close the door easily by just swinging it shut pretty gently. Now we have make sure to push/pull it closed when we leave/enter.

It would have been nice if it had came with instructions and hardware . Disappointed that you have to go out and purchase it 🙁

This is an extremely heavy duty gate that is built to take a beating if necessary. The quality of the metal used here is very nice and durable.

This is a really nice metal door gille. I cannot explain how many times we have replaced the screen inside of our rv door just for the kids to tear it right back up within days.This grille is solid and now we won't have to worry about that anymore. Not only will we save money on screen now, but we no longer have to worry about the rugged look that the screen gives off when it's torn and the embarrassment that comes behind it when others see it. Between having dogs and kids, this is a great resolution. Not only is ot solid but it's made of very durable material so it will be lasting for a very long time! It also looks so much more better than the screen, as well. I would rate this higher than a 5 if it were possible.It was so easy to remove the old screen and install this grille. It took about 10 minutes and it was worth every minute.

This screen is nice and heavy compared to a lot of others. This is the second sheet metal one I've got, because the typical mesh ones just aren't great for dogs. They like to chew, and they can get their claws caught in the mesh. These more solid screen protectors will keep my pups from injuring themselves.The metal of this guard is heavy gauge, it's not overtly bulky. It's rigid enough to add structure to the screen door without adding a ton of extra weigh. Nice mix between being bulletproof and not lessening cargo capacity.It takes some strategy to get it installed, but once it's on the door it'll be staying there. It will most likely outlast the camper I'm using it on, and it can fit on pretty much any RV/camper. I suggest this type of screen protector, if you're in the market. It costs a little more than some of the mesh ones, but its 100% worth it.
