This helps keep the cold from coming in. It is attached easily to the wall and can be removed if needed. It is large enough that it can cover the stairwell to prevent the cold from coming up from the stairs.

Excellent for cutting down on cold air drafts and loss of heat from pets going in and out. Installed it on a fifth wheel and we have two dogs who go in and out for potty breaks. Substantially cut down and loss of heat and I think it even helped decrease out propane usage. I am interested to see if it helps with keeping thing cool in the summer

I did have to modify this item somewhat as this door cover was placed on the emergency exit door at the back of my skoolie minibus conversion. The emergency door is a nice area - as with most van/bus conversions, I have a "garage" at the back of the bus for many items like tools and such, but the thing is, the emergency door has two large windows - one on top, one on the bottom of the door. So, because I have been working and traveling around in the bus in cold weather, I wanted to do what I could with both my doors (I have a similar item like this one on the double doors on the passenger side at the front of the bus). This one I did have to cut down to fit the emergency door, but other than that, this really makes a difference in feeling any cold air wafting off the glass. I also have a netted door cover similar to this that I can put up when it's nice enough to open the door and let a nice breeze in but also keep bugs out. One thing that I do like about this is that it creates a black out in the door (windows) so I don't have to have a curtain over those windows!

Well I have a travel trailer, and I decided to give this item a go. I found it a little tedious, the way it needs to be set up. I didn’t get the wall sticking part done right a few times, and I had to unstick it. Unfortunately this caused some of the wallpaper to separate, and it sticking on the velcro adhesive. They do provide thumb tacks to secure it in place more. That helped me out in my situation. The magnets are strong and. They stick back together pretty well. There hasn’t been a time when the curtains stay open after I walk though it. The material is thick and it keeps the indoor temperatures from changing. I recommend it for the quality and comfort it provides.

So, we're not using this for a camper. It's being used to help keep warmth in our master bathroom. There's a large walk-in closet off of it that has an open doorway, and the closet gets crazy cold during the winter. The hubby decided to get this and put it up to help with the problem. It's working marvelously, and now the bathroom is staying nice and cozy, and my feet aren't freezing on the tile floor. It was easy to put up on the doorframe, fits perfectly on a regular-sized doorway, and is easy to put up and down as we need to.
