I installed correctly and tight but the rubber seal failed and water got inside the light. If installing I’d recommend putting silicone around the outside to assist the gasket.

I haven't installed these on the truck camper I'm going to put one on each side with a remote switch on a key fob but we tested these out and the light output is awesome on these and that you can change colors is great because then we can probably use them in the evening and not attract as many bugs

If you are looking for a replacement for your RV porch light don’t look anywhere else. This little thing is BRIGHT. I only use the white light since my 20ft awning light is white. But the yellow is bright aswell. This porch light is brighter then my awning light!!! Its a great replacement. I am very impressed on the brightness and design It is built to last a long time.

I purchased this as a courtesy light above enclosed car hauler door. The light is well made of cast aluminum and very bright. Two modes of operation are bright white and yellowish softer light. I don't care for the softer yellowish light. However it really lights up the area. Pay attention to the shape of the gasket as it matches the shape of the light housing and can only be installed one way. Unfortunately, it wasn’t blatantly obvious and in my haste ultimately ruined the gasket trying remove it after it glued itself in place. My only gripe is the wire is trained to protrude from the right side of the light housing rather than through the back to hide the wire through the wall. It can be done though. Just note that the wire exit through the fixture is not concentric with the mounting holes so you have to measure to drill in the proper spot so that the wire goes directly through and the fixture sits flush against the surface.

It was 5 stars until it broke, didn’t last a year. I know it’s a cheap light but I would have been happier if it lasted at least 2 years. Its was really bright and both modes worked well while it worked. It quit while on a trip and it was a little unnerving since we had some intruders on our site. I would have liked to have the light working so I could have seen them sooner. Nothing bad happened, but I don’t like unexpected guests. I thought about buying another one just hoping that this one was just a dud, but I’m going with a competitor now. A little bit more expensive but hopefully will get years of use. One and done for this light.

This is a cool little light fixture with a lot of light. It has a low profile and is very rugged not to mention two directional high intensity lights. It was easy to install as a replacement for my exterior door light on my RV.
