IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
• WORKS IN THE DARK ONLY – Light sensor detects other lights and won’t switch on in the light.
• DO NOT INSTALL LIGHTS NEAR EACH OTHER – lights may detect each other and won’t turn on.
• SENSOR DIRECTION: Install light so the sensor is facing the general direction of motion.

As long as you are within the range of 10 feet/120 ° and detect movement, these lights will automatically turn on and turn off after 18 seconds after you leave to save energy.

I initially loved these, and they worked great at first. However, after about a month, they started failing within a few weeks. I replaced the batteries, but only one of the three lasted beyond a week. They drain batteries quickly—requiring four AAA batteries each. I also suspect the rain and cold weather is affecting their performance. While they are advertised for outdoor use, they don’t seem to hold up well in outdoor conditions. I’m really disappointed because I enjoyed having them on my RV stairs.

As list I had them on for a few weeks now on my RV steps. No issues. Put out good light when coming up and down the dark steps at night

The pic online shows these being used on RV steps. We used them on our RV steps. They worked great. Then, when they got rained on, they quit working.

we use them in our travel trailer when dry camping. We also used them when traveling both in hotel rooms and on our recent cruise. The only b=negative are the battery covers hinge connector broke on two but they still close and work

Great lighting! Attach easily, magnet on and off. I do wish they included an extra sticky tape cause I placed one of them in a spot I didn’t particularly love and moving it is difficult as I can’t reattach it without another sticky tape strip.

I almost took a star off because, the way the USB charging works, in a high traffic area, it's like I only got one light. I got these to put above my sink, and they do burn out rather quickly, so I've found it works best to have one up and one charging at all times.In the end though, I had to stick with 5 stars. They're good little lights, nice and bright, just what I needed. The motion sensor setting doesn't keep the light on long, even when you're standing under it, but I find having it turn on is enough to remind me to flip it to the constantly on setting. It also means the charge lasts longer, anyway. The magnets that hold it in place are perfect, allowing me to switch between burnt out and fully charged lights easily. And I do love that they are USB charged (I hate having to mess with disposable batteries, and a power cord above the sink just wouldn't work for me.) They burn out quick but not that quickly, and in a lower traffic area, like under a cabinet, you might be able to use both. I only actually needed one anyway, so yeah, 5 stars. Just what I needed. IF YOU DO NEED BOTH LIGHTS, though, you might want to play a little more for something that holds a charge for longer.

I gave this a 1 star because I use it as a night light in the bathroom at night. It detected motion pretty well, and was bright enough, but biggest problem is that it does not stay on long enough for night light use when using bathroom. It turns off after about 10 seconds. AND, the charge does not last very long. I replaced it instead with a night light (promoted for babies, but works great), is egg shaped & variable brightnesses & also an alternate color. The egg shape night light is great. I put it on at night, and stays on all night. On lowest light setting (which is all that is needed for bathroom), using it 8-9 hours a night, charge lasted 3 weeks! Spectacular. I returned the item above (strip light) because charge doesn't last long, & it times out & turns off too quickly, within 10 seconds or so. Not good for a night light.
