I was skeptical of it when it arrived because it seemed so thin but it does a great job helping keep heat in. My biggest complaint is the hooks and 'keep-open' velcro loop that come with it to mount so you can part the 'curtain' if you want it open are made of a much more inferior type of velcro than the kind on the parts that attach to your rv door frame so if you want to keep it open they'll just keep popping off.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the kitchen door on my camper to seal. I have tried everything. While I have made it better, when the wind really howls across the lake, it manages to howl right on in through the edges of my door. These campers don't have a lot of insulation so it is hard to keep them comfortably warm without financing a middle eastern county with propane costs. This cover is extremely well made and quite thick. The insulation is impressive. It also installed in minutes. It was so easy with the velcro fasteners and magnetic strips. Now, when the wind howls outside, I have no corresponding howl through the edges of my door. Not only does it cover the air leaks, the thick insulation covers the whole door and cuts down the amount of cold "radiating" from the surface as well.I am sure it will be just as effective this summer when the heat makes that door too hot to touch.Great item.

Works great, my one complaint would be the Velcro sticking doesn't stay put so well. Also the tie back hooks are easy to use, but come off the hanger with the slightest touch, so constantly looking for them. But other than that, works good for keeping heat out/in etc. I noticed a huge difference.

This came in handy when the temperatures dipped in the the teens here recently. The door doesn’t feel like it has a draft without the cover, but with the cover, the entire RV feels like it has a more stable temperature. It was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. The cover fit the area well and seems as if it will last a long time. The material is durable and of average thickness. This is a good value for the money especially in the last few weeks of winter when the winds start blowing even stronger and the temps drop one more time before spring.

I live in a house, in a room, that has uninsulated walls and ceiling, that sits on a concrete foundation that is part of the driveway. You get it, a converted garage. But the bathroom, that's just the heat sink from h-e double hockey sticks. Tile all the way around everything, floor to ceiling shower, walls, you name it tile it. It has 3 exposed walls and ceiling vent that is just perfectly place for every breeze coming down the hill to blow into the room. Not complaing mind you, I could just move right... in the mean time. Sure why not just close the bathroom door. The bathroom door does not close, and let's not get into why, let's just accept that this place is a rental and this is not going to get fixed anytime soon. RV door cover to the rescue (details in the online product description). The only place where I've been that's colder is in England in the winter, with 3 red brick walls surrounding and making a room just big enough for the toilet. What an experience, it would amost be better to be outside away from the walls.Notably don't be surprized when shutting off or insulating from heat escaping or keeping cold at bay that's one's life might be better. It's nice to wake up and feel like your eyeballs are not partially frozen.I get that the concrete slab is an issue but cold tends to stay lower than heat and I have a fan drawing heat from the main part of the house by use of a small personal fan mounted at the upper corner of the doorway. Heating the room that has a 12 foot celing from below is pointless. Did I mention my bed is 5 feet off the ground. Having this one RV door has made a noticble difference in keeping this/my room more comfortable. Thanks for all the fidility bits to tie back, secure/mount this RV door. What more could I ask for... let's not go there.

Got this insulated curtain to hang up at the bottom of our stairway in our home not an Rv but to our downstairs basement. WeHave a tri- level home & when we're downstairs. The front door is not too far away. And it's super cold in that hallway. We are gonna tack this up on the ceiling in that doorway & it will help hold our heat in downstairs. As it gets very cold here in the midwest. An our Electric bill can get very high if we turn our heat up past 62° at night . We Will do it also in the summer to kerp our cool air held down there. It does work, We did this with a sheet when I was growing up. I like the fact that it has a split down the middle. So my cats can go in & out if they have to go upstairs to use the litter box during the night. I remember growing up when my dad was trying to help us save electricity. He would do a similar thing. Block off a room by hanging up a sheet or blanket. Tack it to the ceiling in the doorway, and it worked amazingly, helped contain the heat in the 1 room instead of it going to all over the rest of the house where we're not at. It allows us to lower the heat about seven degrees and still be warm downstairs. It's the exact size of an average doorway, the bottom of a stairway. And it's insulated made for this purpose , so it's better than hanging up a sheet. I highly recommend this. It has multiple uses. You can be creative with it. It doesn't have to be used for just an RV. It's an insulated curtain. You could even hang it over a window if you had a bad draft door or a window. Its a really solid insulated well made product. I highly recommend! If you're creative with it you can learn how to cut cost & save yourself some money. Especially when it comes to electric bills. After we get it hung up I will take some pictures & show you all.God Bless
