This is a well made ladder that we use in our Jayco trailer. Many trailers don't come with factory ladders any more, and my son was having difficulty climbing up to the top bunk due to the poor design of the handle placement. This is the perfect height and makes it easy to get up to the top bunk. The ladder is well made out of good wood stock, with no sharp edges and nicely finished in matte black. It comes with a set of easy connection hardware and works great.

I got this to use in my RV so my kids can get into the bunk over the cab. I didn't pay too much attention when ordering to not notice that it only comes with hooks on the ladder itself and not a mating hook to put on the bed. It also has a top and bottom hook? Not sure what to even use the bottom ones on so I did not install them. I am over 200 pounds and this thing is solid with my full weight on it.

We were gifted a solid wood bunk bed that is about 30 years old, which was great except there was no ladder. So I took a chance and ordered this RV ladder on the off-chance that it might actually work. Probably one of the nicest aspects of this ladder is that the ladder itself is all one piece. Yes you have to “install” the hooks - screwing them into place - but the rungs and vertical support are all on single piece of metal from what I can tell. There are sliding parts or pinch points for little fingers to get smashed other than where the ladder loops over the bed frame. It is very sturdy - it could hold my weight as well as my husband - and didn’t slide or move when we pulled and tugged on it while standing and climbing the ladder. The metal hooks that go over the bed frame itself are coated in rubber to help prevent wear and tear on the bed which is lovely. From the time we took it out of the box until it was hooked onto the bed was about 3 minutes.I cannot speak to the ease of storage or functionality in an RV as that is not how we are utilizing this ladder but for our purposes it has worked out spectacularly well.

Purchased this for our new (Used) camper that came without so my 6 yr old granddaughter could get int the top bunk. I works but could be about 4 or 5 inches longer the bottom brackets don't keep it away from the bottom bunk so it is straight up and down with little room for the small feet unless using toes only.

This ladder looks promising. However, I received white hooks instead of black, as advertised.Update: this ladder has held up great! Very sturdy! I don’t notice the white hooks, as they’re covered by my daughter’s bedding. Updated from 3 stars to 5 stars.
