Outstanding camera with wide view, and the monitor is large and easy to see and a clear picture, functions are easy, I had a problem with the cigarette adapter it quit 30 seconds after installation, I called customer support and in just a few days I had a replacement in my mail box, their customer service is top notch, I love everything about this back up camera, the range is superior to anything I have used before this one, the magnet is super strong and they provide a small metal plate to mount on a fiberglass surface that allowed me to mount it where I needed it, I HIGHLY recommend this system.

This is a great rear camera for my RV. I recently had my auto fitted for flat towing behind my RV and needed a way to check that everything is ok behind me while I drive. Unfortunately, the RV’s built-in backup camera cuts off at 20mph, making it useless for this purpose. I looked at several options, all of which required running power from the front of the RV to an add-on camera on the back. Fortunately, I found the “RV Backup Camera Wireless”. Just as the description says, no installation was required. I simply placed the camera on a metal structure (in my case, a piece of sheet metal on the ladder) and plugged the monitor into the aux power next to the driver’s seat. The magnet on the camera is extremely strong, so I am sure that it will not fall. The picture is crystal clear in the cab of my RV, which is about 25’ from the camera. No interference with the radio signal between the camera and the monitor. Without solar charging, the camera’s battery lasts at least 5 hours. With solar, it easily runs all day. This is by far the best value in a rearview camera with superior functionality. It even supports multiple cameras, so I intend to get another camera to mount on my towed vehicle.

This is a great camera for a permanent installation, but I think it is also very useful as a portable system. Let me explain. You can literally have this installed in one vehicle, pop the camera off and unplug the monitor, take it to another vehicle and be up and running in 90 seconds or so. Power on the camera and place it on your vehicle. The magnetic mount is so strong that once placed, it can be difficult to move it. Use one of the 2 supplied power cords (USB or lighter socket) to power the monitor and you have instant, clear video. The supplied monitor mount can be secured with the included self tapping screws or with double sided tape to your dash, or you can purchase an optional generic suction cup mount. The camera will hold securely to any flat, magnetic section of the vehicle or it too can be secured with included screws. I find the magnetic camera mount particularly useful for trailering. I can just pop the camera on the tail end of my trailer to get a good view of what’s behind me. I don’t JUST use this for backing up - it is VERY valuable on the road when trailering big loads as I can use it to get a good view of what’s behind me. It makes lane changes much less stressful. The camera range is impressive. I walked at least 25 yards away from my truck with the camera in my hand with no hint of any signal loss. Im pretty sure you could use this on the back of a 53 foot long semi trailer and still have a great picture. Night vision is good, and you can even add a second camera. I’ve never had any battery capacity issues, and the solar charger is a nice addition. It’s easy to pop the camera off of the vehicle at the end of the day and use the supplied 2 amp charger and cord to top it off. As I mentioned before, this is a perfect setup for a permanent, one vehicle installation, but it is really easy to move between vehicles too. I can move it from my truck to any other vehicle in a matter of minutes. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and price point. I’ve purchased another backup camera for an RV from this same seller, but I really like that there is zero wiring involved with this system. This camera does a great job.
