My unit was freezing up. I’d watched an article about the resistance of a new one compared to an old on. I did have a good bit of difference in resistance. I didn’t have to remove anything other than my filter to replace. My old one was landed pretty good took needle nose to remove and placed my new one where it goes. It stop my iceing up.
