I got this as a gift for some cupcake baking friends and it was very well received! One of them is only a teenager and a beginner, she was very happy with this set and looking forward to lots of decorating! So many tips to choose from along with an instruction sheet on how each tip will look with frosting. I might order one for myself, I really like that the tips are stainless steel and not plastic. The flower lifter is lightweight plastic as it should be, it's not "scissors" as some reviewers thought, it's a tool to lift your decorations if you make them separately. A good thorough set perfect for beginners or advanced bakers. Highly recommend.

This box is heavy y'all! The kit is not just russian tips. It has loads and loads of russian tips but also other tips too. Most of the basic ones, most of the petal ones, and yes russian tips in a couple of sizes. Lots of them! The really big tips are *heavy.* The small ones do have a seam but they seem very sturdy and solid. I would say (not having used them yet) that they seem at least comparable if not more sturdy/heavyweight than Wilton brand, and the seams are less obtrusive than other brands I have used before that also had seams. The biggest ones don't have a seam. There's also piping bags and even the scissors for picking up roses. It has the flower nail for building roses on, and a tapered brush to clean out the tips.TL:DR - If you're wondering whether it's worth it, the answer is "yes". It has literally everything you need to make frosting flowers, leaves, and vines. If you want to ice whole cakes then you only need the offset spatula and the spinning cake stand to really kill it. Box is pretty enough to present it as a gift.

I’m giving this 4 stars because I got a good price on a lightning deal. At full price I would give it 3 stars.The set has a good variety of tips, both the standard size (smaller) tips, and the larger Russian tips. I’m excited to try them out but as of this review haven’t yet. They look functional, as do the icing bags, so I expect that aspect will work just fine in the hands of a beginner.Everything came with a silvery-grey (metal) film on it, which will wash off but was still kind of gross. You can see it on the white icing bag collars/couplings and on the useless little “scissors” that were included.The snips/scissors (whatever they’re called) are very cheap-feeling plastic and are warped; they don’t meet like they should so no chance to use as intended. I got another pIf off Amazon in another cheap icing tips set that were much better. Similarly, the couplers/collars are cheap plastic so the threads don’t match up super well and can be a bit frustrating to put back together. They tend to go on crooked. This was especially true for the triple-color coupler which had excess plastic in the threads which I had to cut out with an xacto knife.The metal tips are cheaply made too but it won’t matter much. Some of the tips look pretty rough; scraped, a little discolored, a few look like maybe some plating as rubbed off. One of the smaller ones was bent. Some have sharp edges around where the design is cut out.Over all they will be functional and it was a decent deal, but just know you’re getting what you pay for here. There are certainly better made tips but these will get the job done.

Good quality, they are very easy to operate and easy to clean. These are very useful for me. I used these baking tools to make a birthday cake for my colleague last week. Colleagues said the decorations are amazing!!!! they can make the cake look beautiful. love it.

Me and My wife love baking, we bought this because we heard about Russian piping tools a lot. When the package came and we opened it we were blown away. We had Wilton nozzles before which were very delicate and soft and can bent and break easily. These Russian nozzles are heavy duty and very strong and big and has too many styles to make flowers and designs.It also comes with a cleaning tool for nozzles which I have never seen with other products and the small booklet which also come with it has so many designs options that you can't get enough of it. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and will urge avid baking enthusiast like us to buy this product and give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a russian pipping tip set this is a very good choice. It has a wide variety that covers many different patterns especially those seen on you tube. It is easy to set up however it takes alot of practice to get the flowers done right and the right frosting/ icining consistency (nothing to do with the set itself by the way). You tube will be your best friend for advice since there are no instructions but there is a chart that shows what tip produces what flower pattern. I love the set at the end of day and gives my decorating a special twist. It has all the components especially if you are a beginer and you can start using the kit right out of the box (after washing of course). You do not need to go buying additional materials. He tips are of good quality and very sturdy. Washes well, no rusting. The bags that come with it holds well with the pressure applied. If you have to buy a russian tip set get this one, or get it as a present for the baker/decorator.
