I rarely write reviews but to help save you money and possible frustration you should know that this is very runny and ran down off the edge of the cookie. It's difficult to get a slim straight line with this product. It doesn't dry/set up as quickly as it should. I ended up going to Walmart and buying the Great Value cookie icing in a pouch. Less expensive and worked better.

Bought this cookie icing for a craft event for VBS to make eye's on grapes. The grapes were put together in the shape of a snake. The snake represent the serpent that deceived Adam & Eve. Sorry, I got carried away. Back to the dress. It is a pain to squeeze the icing out. Seriously hurt my hand. I finally had to open it and use tooth picks to scoop out the icing and make dots for eyes. Next time I will get a small tub of cake icing. Less stress and pain. But, it did taste good.

Icing works well for cookies and you can use for other baking as well. Great value and not too thick or thin. Consistency is perfect and color was as expected.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this icing and bottle applicator. It tastes good and best of all it is a great consistency for flooding and design work. I plan to use this with my students and cookie decorating. Fine lines do require a VERY light touch. A different applicator tip or bottle 1mm or 1.5mm would be best for fine lines. However, it’s perfect for our needs and I don’t have to make the icing myself.Update: my 1st-6th grade students did not love these bottles. They taste great but got easily clogged or came out too fast. I also made homemade icing and used icing bottles. They preferred this method because the icing tasted just as good or better and came out better and didn’t get clogged. This work well in a pinch especially for adult use and taste good.

Needed some black frosting for Jack Skellington sugar cookies with buttercream frosting (rather than royal icing which I had seen was mostly the norm). Had never done this before and was so glad it worked out perfectly!! We had to do a few tests and overheated it the first time (even though it was only 15 sec), but it cooled off pretty quick and was really easy to move around with a toothpick and squeeze out of the bottle. Love the adjustable nozzle too!! Really great texture with the buttercream and ended up not melting it either or bleeding like I was worried about!

I would like to point out that this food item among many other food items I’ve been ordering over the summer on Amazon are arriving hot. That’s not ok. There should be a proper standard with the the way food is being stored as well as delivered. I can’t imagine that this doesn’t affect the quality and probably taste of the products. Alone the fact that it’s hot plastic packaging is already concerning.
