These bags seem to provide a good sound that resembles the crashing of deer antlers. The strap will do well to keep them silent while going back and forth to the stand. Look forward to testing these this upcoming hunting season.

I like this rattle bag. The sound seems to be on par with my other style rack rattle, and there was no smell. The only issue I found was that the elastic band sewn on the bag that is supposed to silence the rattle is too loose. It is just as loud with the band on as off. I will likely get a heavy-duty rubber band to better silence it.

These are not two of the same thing, one bag has several small dowel rods and the other is six bigger dowel rods and they sound totally different. I ordered these so my partner and I would have the same thing. I’m going to play around with these mixing the rods and see if I can come up with a sound I like better. Hopefully I can mix them half and half and be okay for my intended use, if not I’ll have one with spare parts for my partner and I’ll keep using my bulky BR.

I used this rattle bag during this years rut and it worked great! So much easier to pack and manage than real or fake antlers and do not require as much movement when you should be sitting still. Great for any whitetail hunting pack!

This is a nice product with a couple of minor limitations. It appears durable and works well and is easy to carry. It rattles very loud which is good but there are many times I want a very soft light “clicking” sound simulating a subtle sparring between bucks. Is very hard to be quiet with this. Secondly the elastic band is not stout and I suspect in short time it will stretch out like my others and not keep the dowels from rattling as they travel. Lastly I’d like a longer string to hang it on my tree while not in use.
