Works good. Two rule pumps in tandem have pumped a quarter million gallons of water at 8-9 feet of lift per winter watering cattle. Excellent pumps.

The pump is a direct replacement on a existing system. The system is a solar charged battery system that uses infra red detector to control the pump, which in waters cows in a remote area. Pump reliability is important as the system is only monitored weekly.

Installed and wired in about an hour once we obtained the proper size tubing to match what we had in the boat. This was an upgrade from 800 gph so we had to do a little modifying. The increased output to our 28 gallon live well is noticeable.

I used this to replace an old pump but found a 3/4" hose adapter at my local boat store since I did not want to run bigger diameter hose to the livewell.

two of these pumps have failed me in a row ,,and i cant tell you how sick to my stomack it makes me ,,, its hard to get time off and even harder to wait for new pumps that are failing before the day is out , i worked my ass off installing and wiring this pump just to have it fail , and with no phone numbetrs or web site with rule or amazon it just tough and with the best fishing in southern calif. in ten years im very insulted f---u--- china

This pump worked perfectly for me. It was easy to retrofit into the existing connections and hasn't given me any problems at all. One thing to note, I was under the impression that it had 3/4" fittings, but I received a 1" fitting model. It may have been a mistake on my part, so I urge you to pay attention when placing the order. However, it was easily rectified with a couple of PVC fittings from the local hardware store, so no big deal to me. I would buy this again without reservation.
