Looking for a handy place to mount your accessory switches that doesn't require cutting or other modifications? The Rugged Ridge A-Pillar Switch Pod has premolded cutouts to allow you to mount up to four aftermarket switches in easy reach on the driver's side A-pillar, and out of the way of the shifter handle. Our Pillar Pod has the textured molded finish just like the factory plastic pillar cover it replaces. It snaps into place just like the OE!

This company that is buying this item is changing the part number. Resalting in getting the wrong part for the model Jeep. Had to call the manufacturer to get the right part. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

The Construction is sturdy and looks like it will hold up well. The plastic is thick and looks like you will need to use a dremel to cut the slots. The texture and finish are spot on with factory.Color dose not match factory at all. Mine was a much lighter "black" than the factory. It looks as if it is sun faded. The lines match up MOSTLY with the rest factory trim and keeps with the factory feel. The bottom seemed as if it wasnt long enough and left about an inch gap along where it meets the dash. This isnt noticable unless you look from the outside with the door open.I didn't expect a perfect fit but I did expect much better.I dont know if I will use it anyway or not.

As others have noted, the slots for installing the switches are held in place with very thick plastic and you can't simply cut them out with an exacto knife. My solution was to use a very tiny drill bit and drill multiple holes around the perimeter, then use the spinning bit to chew through the narrow gaps. Once this was done, I had the correct size, but a ragged edge to be certain. I then was able to use a sharp knife and trim the opening to get it relatively smooth. Any minor imperfections are invisible once the switches are installed as the bezel of the switch covers them.Great product, glad to see them still made for the passenger side of a JK. My Jeep is a RHD postal version, so I need those switches where I can reach them!

Fits great in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I ordered Right side, because my Jeep is a Right Hand drive for mail delivery. So glad they offered a right hand A-pillar. Now I can just flip the switch and my caution light on top of Jeep is running! My husband had no trouble installing it.

Product received was as advertised and expected. However, I am disappointed that you need to remove a metal clip from the tial gate to fit the product. They could have supplied the metal clip...

Most importantly, this piece is exactly what you expect. It replaces the left pillar trim in my JKU with another piece that contains four blanks that can be cut out out to accommodate switches. It protrudes farther out than the original trim, in order to give it enough room to accommodate the backs of the switches and the wiring. Now for my list of gripes. The biggest one is cutting out the blanks themselves. They need to be trimmed correctly to accept the switches; but if the cuts are much larger, they penetrate the thin bit of plastic separating the switches. I used an Xacto knife. One small slip and I cut through that barrier between switches. I can't tell any difference, once the switches are installed. Nothing is loose, and I'm the only one who can see the mistake. One star off.Aside from that: it protrudes out a couple of inches further than the factory trim piece, so that it has room behind for the backs of the switches and the wires. If you don't want that, don't order it. And the trim doesn't fit snugly or neatly into places. But then again, neither does the original Jeep trim, and this piece isn't any worse.Summary: it's a clean, neat way to have four switches at your fingertips. But it's hard to cut out those darned blanks carefully.

Matches the MY13 pretty well. The plastic shape isnt perfect but then neither is anything else in the wrangler. All up its good value for money.

Perfect fit and finish. Unobtrusive. Installed in 2014 JK. The hardest part is trimming out the switch blank to fit whatever switch you intend to use. I used the Daystar switch and a hobby knife for precision but a rotary tool or utility knife would both be ok depending on how quick, careful, and whatever you have available.
