It is really like and hollow Plastic. Unfortunelty it is easily broken because of this. It is also very bulky. Heat for maybe a little kid, but not an older one looking for more of an authentic looking wand.

It’s great for kids to play with. It’s oversized (great for small hands) and it’s hollow plastic (even better when small hands like to hit stuff with it). For the price it’s worth it.

This was perfect for my Harry Potter costume! The paint chipped off the wand, but I expected that for how cheap the pricing was and that didn’t bother me. Overall, it was great!

Hollow plastic, and very large and long (seems like it must be larger than Ron's wand in the films). Expected this from the low price, but my son hated it and so it went back. The appearance looks like wood though, and the shape and color seem accurate/attractive.

Perfect! I was worried because of negative reviews, but it's been sturdy. Exactly what we were looking for. A favorite toy! A great price and worth every penny.

It is what it is. I needed a cheap wand for my costume since my good one wouldn't get here in time. It's pretty cheap plastic and much bigger around then I anticipated. Even after reading the reviews it still surprised me, I guess I was thinking people meant it was long more than fat, this thing is fat. Now that Halloween is over my son plays with it, but he always holds the tip because the base is so big. Had my original wand came in time I never would have bought this cheap plastic thing. But it didn't so I did. It worked for what it is, but certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

They are a little bigger than i thought...But they are so very perfect. I bought 3 and all 3 are unique, durable, and a good size for small hands. I got one each for my 3, 4, and 7 year old, and its perfect.
