This wand has been a great and popular addition to my treasure trove of toys at my house for when my nieces and nephews visit me. This isn’t your average plastic princess wand, no, this one dawns on a whole new brand of princess–elegant and sophisticated. It has a really beautiful pink color which isn’t tacky but instead really versatile and neutral. It is subtle in that it can be used as a princess wand or really anything else but the point is that it doesn’t look too “princessy”. Additionally, the wand itself is made of a high-quality metal material. Per what my nieces have told me, this makes it more fun to hold and makes it feel more real. However, I noticed that its weight of it might be considered a bit of a hazard instead.The glass ball at the top is not actually glass, but it is heavy like glass and certainly has the potential to break. Although this is made with integrity, I can tell that this needs to be handled delicately. That is why my lower rating is 4 out of 5 stars– it doesn’t seem fully childproof and would definitely need supervision, especially if your kids are prone to swing things around. One blow to the head with this bulb and that’s almost a certain bruise and bump. The interior of the stem is also hollow which makes me think it is prone to bending if it were to get smacked against something.Overall, this is a beautiful wand that looks very gracious and fancy, but it is not necessarily a children’s toy.

A little different from the other fairly wands but needed a wand asap and this is all I can get my hands on. The wand is pretty with the pink crystal ball on one end and the silver metal stick. I was able to tie a few small pieces of ribbon to give a fairy look.

It's a beautiful, real looking scepter. It would be the perfect gift, if they'd only put a little thought and effort into the packaging. The packaging was basically non-existent. It came with the gem in a cheap white box and the entire thing in a plain black bag and the gem had fallen out of the box into the bag (because they hadn't secured it in any way) and the black bag was in an over-sized Amazon box.

This is a gorgeous crystal scepter. It comes in two separate pieces. You simply screw the crystal into the wand and 'Violâ'. The crystal top has two rows of rhinestones around the bottom. The crystal top is multi-faceted and really sparkles. The scepter is very high-quality, sturdy and well-crafted.

This is more fancy than I thought. It's pretty heavy. Not cheap made at all. I love it so much. The crystal screws into the metal wand (handle?)part and is very sturdy. I feel like a queen and want it for myself. My daughter is using it for Halloween. Its actually great for any age. Child and adult alike. As long as it's not used to hit someone because it could really do some damage lol.

This little wand with a glass crystal ball on the top could bring a lot of fun and fantasy to a young girl. But the crystal is very heavy, and hard, so it could quickly become a weapon in the wrong hands. If a child got frustrated with another child, or even an adult, and swung the wand, it would definitely hurt. I wouldn’t recommend this toy for that reason.
